Its starting to become this way. In part I believe this is due to economic issues, and in part due to the inability/unwillingness of Turks to integrate into German culture/society. Even German Chancellor Merkel stated that multiculturalism had completely failed. I saw evidence of this 7-8 years ago when I lived there.

Lets think for a second, generalizing. There is no denying that immigrants are always treated harshly. They might not be spat at, or denied rights, but you can't say they don't have a hard time, especially growing up. I don't think German kids treat there Turks with much respect. This can cause the Turks to rebel, stay with there own in defense. Not adopt German culture, etc. This is not just Germany, I am speaking about every single country. If a kid growing up as a minority, treated bad, he will most likely end up not adopting that countries culture, forming groups with his own, etc... Just my opinion

The sentiment seems to be that when the wall came down, east europeans started moving in en masse because of all the money west germany had to spend to rennovate thanks to the **** job the commies did on the east.

Kind of. And just like the Mexicans in America, some are decent folk and others are scum. Some come legally and work respectable jobs. Others come to sell drugs and prostitutes or to leech off the German social system.

Because Germany imported millions of Turks to fill the need of labor in Germany in the 60's and did very little to attempt to assimilate them and tried their hand at the multiculturalism BS. Many of them didn't assimilate, especially because they often imported Turks from the **** parts of Turkey instead of the European parts. Many of them speak Turkish, not German, and consider themselves Turkish before German. You can act like Germans hate immigrants all you want but the reality is that Germany has one of the most lax immigration policies in regards to other nations such as Poland and there are 0 problems with other major immigrant groups such as Poles or Italians. Turks are just kind of like the Mexicans of Europe, except that they're concentrated in the cities. Don't really assimilate, many did and still do see themselves as temporary workers and not Germans, etc.

They also have no discrimination laws. An Emirati can say he doesnt want to hire Iraqis. They only have figures on religion for 500,000 of the people living in the area. The westerners are there only to dump cash and work in UAE. There is a huge imbalance between total women and total men.
