Post Pain in my wrist while working out biceps

Hey guys. I'm relatively new to working out, and I've filled out my chest and triceps, but not my biceps. This is because when I try pull ups or curls, or just flexing my left bicep, there's sometimes a pain in my wrist. I'm not sure if it's a vein or a muscle spasm or not, but it just feels uncomfortable and makes me not want to work out my biceps. Any help?

use wrist wraps thats what happend to me... if you want to strengthen your wrists dont wear them so much on the lighter weights (that dont bother your wrist) but use it on the heavier weights

First. Please don't post in blinding blood red.

Have you tried stretching your wrist? Had an injury there before? It may simply be some forearm weekness but I can't really know. If you don't find the answer on here go to a doctor and see what he says. And if he says something about how lifting is bad, stare at him, leave and then find a new doctor.

Dumb answer. He says he gets the pain just when he's flexing without weight. How are straps going to help? If you can't do curls or chin ups without losing grip then you need to strengthen your grip. **** straps.

lol u right ... all i read was the pain in the wrist ... i didnt feel like my eyes bleeding from reading that red BS haha... but yeah check with your doctor for real! if its more of a joint pain then wrist wraps can help.... $4.00 at your nearest sport shop ... over time your wrists should get stronger.

Try doing some knuckle push ups. I did it when I first started doing kickboxing and it helped strengthen my wrists and helped stabilize them from rolling. I would say start on your knees and do them just to see if you can handle that, then if it is too easy go to normal push-up position.
