    Best tasting low-sugar protein bar?

I'm order a box of protein bars that are low in sugar, I don't care about the fats (in fact I want to add some fats) but I don't know which ones to order. I like snicker's taste, any ideas?

It's hard to find quality protein bars without added sh*t in them. I usually make my own. That way you can control the amounts that go in them, and make them to fit your needs. You should check out the recipe threads and search for protein bars. Even google it. TONS of stuff you can make. A lot of them are super good too. The ones you have to bake are kind of iffy to deal with, they get crumbly and dry. The no bake ones are a good option.

^^This^^ I don't eat protein bars except those I make. I do have some manufactured protein bars around for emergency, but they are not low sugar.

I think phd diet whey bars are fantastic... Chocolate Cookie is the best flavour.

    181k 14g carb(1g of sugar) 4.7 fats

Tried homemade didn't work out great.. Just gooey mess that neither me or oh would eat even when froze it stayed like gunk.

So if any great recipes are about I'd be happy to hear xxx might save a fortune

ditto for me. as for pre-made, store-bought bars, i haven't had them, but the ingredients in and profile of quest bars seem best, imo. larabars too, but those aren't really protein bars.

I don't use these but in a pinch, but the Think Thin bars are awesome - especially the White Chocolate Chip - 20g of protein, no sugar, and gluten-free.

I just tried a detour lean muscle bar and found it to be one of the best protein bars I've ever had. I've tried many and this one has potential.

Thanks for the thread, this looks fairly simple! Chocolate flavor whey + peanut butter and maybe add some nuts/honey would place it in the snickers' category. :-D Thanks for replies and tips guys! I know a lot of those bars are junk-food but I have cravings for chocolate ALL the time and snickers is like 1000 g sugar! I'm not really avoiding sugar I just so happened to live in a diabetic house and I don't want to keep this around... Haven't tired 'oh yeah' yet, might wanna give it a shot.

Btw, supreme protein is awesome! (my true love so far lol) Also roasted peanuts flavor from protein plus! But they're stuffed with sugar alcohol instead of sugar so. :-$

The best protein bars I have found that are lower in sugar are Power Crunch bars. They only have 4 grams of sugar in them and no sugar alcohols!! Their a wafer bar and very yummy. I especially like the triple chocolate ones.
