Should I buy this on Xbox or PC?

No stupid fking Console vs PC wars please.. Just a straight up honest opinion.

The only reason I was thinking of going PC was because on DA:O I enjoyed playing it on the hardest difficulty and playing very strategic with pausing, etc which I heard was better done on the PC. Will combat be easier on the PC for DA2 or will it be the same as Xbox?
I have it on PC, prefer games like this on PC, and I have to admit this one was made with consoles in mind.

    I still love the game.

IMO, yes. It is (at least for me) more efficient to quickly slide my mouse over each character during a pause and set some quick tactics. I am personally more accurate with mouse movements than I am the analog stick.

Idk, I am past deep roads and its still hellaboring.

The story direction in this game was awful... Compare the first 10-15 hours of DA origins to DA2, it is pretty sad. Having one of many stories, which would influence the game even hours later, and then being brought to the battle where you meet a very unlikeable antagonist. Working towards overthrowing two threats was interesting, gave you something to look forward to, especially when one of them was in a power position in the kingdom. The world was actually established, not just around one city, each are with it's own feel.

Don't get me wrong, origins had plenty of predictable/weak story elements too(gathering different settlements support each needing a favor for example), but comparing it to being a broke with some random people while trying to scrounge up cash with no real antagonist 10-15 hours in leaves much to be desired.

The combat is fun though, aside from lack of much customization to allies, but the story is pretty frail

Someday? Someday my dream will come? One night you will wake up and discover it never happened. It's all turned around on you. It never will. Suddenly you are old. Didn't happen, and it never will, because you were never going to do it anyway.

Let them all get within your range, pause again. Do the Mighty Blow or whatever is set to #1. Pause, do a #4, pause #2. I'm not sure what #3 is but I'd do it too. If I can do the #1 where they're real close together, that is a 1-hit kill. If their armor is strong, they will only have a 1/4 or less health left, so #4 should take them out, assuming there won't be 4+ more coming after what's int he screenshot. Let me know how it goes.

Every character is bi-sexual in this game. The consensus is that Bioware was just too lazy to make different relationship options for each sex, so they kept it the same across the board.

As for your question, it depends on which character you went with yourself. Right now, I'm a Warrior, so I am rolling 1 Rogue and 2 Mages with me (Varric, the Elf lady, and Anders, respectively). I like Varric because he's handy to have when I happen to stumble across a locked chest.

Lol ty but I posted that yesterday. I just ended up running back the way I came and trying to cluster them together on some stairs, then doing Scythe and MB. Took 4 of em out before I died

EDIT: #3 is damage control or something, it does +10% damage

it feels so empty compared to origins to mee...the world and everything just sucks vendors look like sht seems like a rushed game.
It ain't about how much you lift. It's about how much you can lift and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!

On hard, the best tactics I have found against the swarms of enemies is running away to somewhere more defensible, like around a corner, and hopefully separating the group into more manageable pieces, just make sure to turn the AI off so they don't immediately run forward again like morons.

I'm a warrior so I like to send my guy straight in the center of a swarm and use whirlwind, making sure I clicked the hold command so my guys don't run in after me, while my 2 mages cast tempest and firestorm and varric casts the hail of arrows thing. I'm playing on hard as well and this combo hasn't failed me yet. All my people are all level 7 I think so I'm not that far in though.

Haven't bought this yet but it seems to me from reading user reviews that the ones who hate the changes in DA2 also hated Mass Effect 2.

I probably have about 18 hours into it so far. I've done every single quest that I've gotten. I do agree that the story is a little weak so far but I feel like it will definitely pick up. I just cant seem to put the damn controller down, I easily play for like 3 hours and lose track of time. I think the game is very enjoyable. This may be a bit of a spoiler, but for those about to go into the deep roads, be careful who you take with you.

This game pissed me off for many reasons.

Basically none of the decisions you make in the game make any impact on the ending at all, and the ending is extremely disappointing.

Give me Dragon Age 1 story with dragon age 2 combat please

I completed the game on Hard with a 2 handed vanguard/templar Warrior.

    Party was Anders/Varric/Me/Merill

anders being a complete healbitch and merill being damage/etc

brb making a ****ty ending so we can make DLC for console-bitches to buy to see the full story

So why do you think it's made for consoles then?

Was looking forward to an epilogue regarding the decisions I made in the game like the ones in Origins and Awakening.

    Sorta disappoint!

Strong weight to height ratio. I was your weight at that height BEFORE I started lifting.
