So this girl was a manager at the place I work at. The owner has 4 locations and many people from the several locations know eachother and the owner has parties several times a year. I'm the dishwasher at one of them. I have had a crush on her for a year. She went to another location in october I believe but since I made a fb profile a couple months ago I've been adding people and I came across her. Yes, I looked at her fb pics quite often because I was intimidated by her and I don't call it creeping, I call it self improvement. Trying to find a way over her or a way I can talk to her if I saw her again without my face turning red. Over the past couple of months I've gotten more confident but I still got work to do.
I was scared to death of sending her a friend request but since everyone else had her on I sent her one. The day she accepted her status changed to single. I originally wasn't going to do anything but then I was like wtf, okay I'm going to do it. I'm sure it would have been better for me to just say, "Hey I saw your fb status was single, I've never been on a date, want to go out for coffee?".
but here is the message. The place has a lot of gay people that work there and one of them was a gay pornstar lol.
Hey girl I know breakups can be tough...
But whats worse than a breakup is being almost 22 years old and never holding hands with a girl. So actually scratch that I don't actually know what a breakup is like. But can the manager give the dishwasher a chance. I mean [place of employement] does owe me. Between people trying to light me on fire, not taking enough out on taxes, throwing dead fish at me, getting me drunk the first time I ever had alcohol - so drunk that I say things I really wish I didn't then pouring vodka in a cup and telling me it was water, and just keeping me on as a plate scrubber for a year (even though I originally applied as a busser). [that drunk instance was the bartender after the place was closed on my 21st b-day the girl I asked out and 1 other person was there along with the bartender and I ranted on about my irritable bowel syndrome but I thought maybe she would give me a pass since I was stressed and that was my first time with booze], I'm doing bigger better things than dishwashing at the moment(university, etc) so I don't really care what the fallout from this is, it isn't important. What is important is showing [manager's gay porn name] that I don't want to be in one of his videos with him. What better way to do that than to go out and get a cup of cofee somewhere with you?
P.S. -lol, thanks for the friend add. Now I'm gonna be blocked. Nice being ******** friends while it lasted. (oh and I've called all the bricco's about bussing, even serving and nadda. So I have even less shame in doing this. I really do know breakups can be bad and I shouldn't take advantage of someone's ******** single status, but I really hate my job and if I'm considering leaving why not at least leave with a bang even if I shoot and miss right ; ) .
So she hasn't responded yet. I think appears to be a sweet girl but I'm more than uncertain what she thinks of me and I'm uncertain if she just appears to be a sweet girl but really looks down on me. I am thinking of replying to this message saying something like
"lol I know this was the first time asking a girl out but I guess not only am I not good enough to be a busser, not only am I not good enough for coffee, but I'm not good enough for a response. So I'll go back to the dish pit. Actually I'll just stick to slot machines. I'm more respected in there anyway."

The message is a constant reminder of why she shouldn't date you: The fact you have never been on a date before/held hands with a girl, have no decent prospects for your current job, and how you brought up the fact that you embarrassed yourself while drunk.
If you're going to ask a girl out you shouldn't come off as so desperate and that message sounded more like a sob story. You should have just kept it short and asked her instead of writing a "love letter".
You need to be more confident and remind her why you would be worth dating. You need to talk to her in person or over the phone though if you are really interested.

lol, I had a girl ask me out over Myspace once.
Knew her from an old job I had.. she was kinda cute then but she had a boyfriend.
a year later out of nowhere I get a message from her asking to go to the movies. I was feelin' mighty pumped until I looked at her pics and realized she must have let herself go when her boyfriend broke up with her.
