I didn't have taxes taken out of my unemployment.

I was unemployed for 10 months last year and didn't have taxes taken out. Made about $20,000. How much you think I will owe when I file my return? If you get most of your taxes back at the end of the year, does that mean I'll owe $0? I have $2000 put aside just in case.

if your total income was 20,000 for the yr you won't owe too much. Maybe like 12% of that maxmium. lets just say 10%. Could be wayyyyy less if you have some good deductions.

So 10% of 20,000 is 2000... which is what you set aside.
