Mr. Xrcise's 2011 Double T Transformation Challenge Log
It has come time for me to join the ranks of my comrades and enter the 2011 Double T Sports Transformation Challenge. For the duration of this 18 week excursion, I will be utilizing BetaCene, NO Beta and NitroMine. Further down the road, KetoCuts and TestX6 will be added to the arsenal. My short term goal for this challenge will be to shed the layers of body fat that I have amassed throughout the winter months and dial in my nutrition. This accomplishment will make my long term goal of becoming a Double T Sports sponsored athlete and hitting the stage for the (USBF) NEPA Natural (November 2012) a bit more manageable.
My training sessions will be 5-6 days weekly with rest days as needed to recover properly. I will be doing a variety of exercises with a focus on light weights and high reps. My cardio will consist of using the recumbent bike, the treadmill and the heavy bag/speed bag beginning with single sessions on training days. As the day of reckoning gets closer, these sessions will increase to twice on training days.
My nutrition will consist of a minimum of 6 meals daily and I will be concentrating on eating CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! The most difficult point throughout this journey will be the fact that my eldest daughter, my wife and my own birthday will be coming in May, towards the end of the challenge. There can be no derailing from the path this time around if I want the best possible results. DISCIPLINE is the word of the day!
I have been shrouded within my personal cocoon, the metamorphosis will now begin. It will be a long and trying journey, but I am more than game for the challenge. Feel free to follow along with me to witness this transformation and I implore you to push me towards this goal. As always I welcome criticisms, support and advice!
My INSPIRATION for this challenge is the foundation of my support system, my wife and two beautiful daughters. I want them to understand that you ARE able to make healthy choices, enjoy life and maybe help someone else along the way.
My MOTIVATION for me to see this challenge through to the end is the fact that I would become a DTS sponsored athlete and have a physique good enough for me to hit the stage in 2012.
My STRENGTH to strive forward comes from the Heavenly Father, the DTS family, the DILF Nation and other members of Body Space.
Let the games begin. nice to see you back in the run.

You have to carry the cross to wear the crown.
Today I wanted to get in a good session, check in on my comrades and watch a little NCAA basketball. I was extremely excited to get this challenge going and work my way through the gauntlet. This challenge is up for grabs and I am going to work my butt off in hopes of taking it all the way to the tippy!!! I'll be starting this in 2 months. Not sure how it's going to go since it'll be my first "bodybuilding" cycle.
Thanks Vaen and best of luck to you too. You will have loads of fun and be up to your ears in support from the comrades. Keep me in the loop so that I may be able to follow along!

I stepped onto the gym floor with the mindset of hitting the iron until my arms fell off. To accomplish this task, I dusted of a piece of equipment from the dark ages...enter the ARM BLASTER!! This session was going to be epic!
DB curls (warm-ups)
5 x 10 @ 30lbs
5 x 10 @ 40lbs
5 x 10 @ 50lbs
Machine preacher curls
1 x 10 @ 80lbs
1 x 10 @ 90lbs
1 x 10 @ 100lbs
1 x 10 @ 110lbs
2 x 10 @ 120lbs
EZ bar curls with Arm Blaster
1 x 10 @ 35lbs
1 x 10 @ 45lbs
1 x 10 @ 50lbs
1 x 10 @ 55lbs
2 x 10 @ 60lbs
DB concentration curls (each set per arm)
1 x 10 @ 20lbs
1 x 10 @ 25lbs
1 x 10 @ 30lbs
1 x 10 @ 35lbs
1 x 10 @ 30lbs
1 x 10 @ 25lbs
My biceps were totally wiped out, bursting with pain and feeling oh so good! I had one of my training partners with me for this session and we traded off, resting only long enough to exchange the blaster, DBs or the EZ bar. It was indeed an epic session
I hope to hit all of my muscle groups with the same intensity

Okay Josie, the Arm Blaster is a tool used to force strict movements when curling. Check the attatched photo...yes its been around forever and I thought it would help me GROW a bit more if I used it again (a awesome decision)!
Arm blaster ... cool. There is an old school image of Arnold with one, I think it was on the cover of FLEX a few months back (probably a year or more )
I've seen it in a few other photos but never knew what it was

Its a handy-dandy piece of equipment and I got mine from Walmart (they have some pretty cool stuff there) I'm glad that I pulled it out!

Its all about mixing it up so we don't get bored with our sessions

Haha I remember those. I'm pretty sure I've used one before when I was a young teenager.
