The weekend is here...YIPPEE!!!! My training session this morning was chest, shoulders and tris(with a nice core warm up). It was a killer. I will log it later as I am currently supposed to be working
Busy weekend planned. Dinner and drinks with friends tonight to celebrate a birthday, my drink of choice will be spring water. Off to Philly tomorrow for the NGA Mr. & Mrs. Natural Philadelphia Contest. Sunday is going to be filled with songs of Praise, brunch with my adorable April, the movies to see Thor (in 3D) and closing things out with another EPIC leg session!!! I hope everyone else has an exciting weekend too!!!!
Sending heartfelt (albeit early) Mothers Day wishes to all of the wonderful moms and moms to be!!!

Sounds like a fun weekend! Let us know if Thor is worth seeing! With tickets being 10 dollars, I'm getting very picky at what I pay to see!

"So what exactly would you say you DO here??"
"Does this suit make me look fat??"
"No, your face does."

It was busy, but it was well worth all of the running around! Had a great time at the show yesterday...inspiration at its best!!
I must say...GO SEE THOR! Saw it in 3D and it was great(I'm a Marvel fan)! There were more older patrons than teens and it allowed me to really enjoy the movie. Two thumbs up!
Thanks sis, it was indeed FUN
Hey there Josie!!!! I enjoyed the weekend just as I had hoped and I learned a few things along the way.

Today is day 38 of 90 and I am salivating at the thought of completing this! I'm enjoying the shake up and my body is responding really well!
Recently had another great leg session (although April was unable to join me, she cheered me on for the entire session)!
It has come time to do back and biceps! I have to indulge in this session later this afternoon instead of beginning my day with it. I got some extra rest this morning and enjoyed the sounds of the little birdies chirping outside my window
Tonight its off to the school to be WOWed by my baby girl. She is performing with the junior high school band and chorus for their spring concert. Its going to be an interesting and enjoyable hour out of my day

The concert was very well put together and the kids did an awesome job! Kadie (my daughter) is in band and chorus so there was not one moment when she did not grace the stage. The band played music from around the globe and concluded with a mix of Beatles tunes. The chorus had an international flavor too, but one song stood out. The final selection, the guys filed out and it was only the young ladies onstage. They did a song from Grease (not sure what the title is). It was very animated, they were doing the "hand jive" while swaying back and forth and it sounded like Heaven. I was proud of Kadie and every other member of the band and chorus for a nice performance. It was again a well spent 60 minutes of my evening

Kadie plays the Baritone. When she first started with it, she was very unhappy due to its size and there were not too many girls that played it. She is now pretty good with it and has not complained about it in a very long while. My only complaint is when I am concentrating on Sports Center and she is practicing...GRRR!
Oh WOW! Thats flattering! (payment is on the way )

One of my best friends is a band director. One of his high school kids got drunk at a party and cut up the school's practice baritone, which he had borrowed, with an axe. Then he burried it in the field.
