Started in august and am looking to lose weight soon i feel to heavy. I was wondering how you guys would rate my bulk. Did i gain too much fat on it or is it about right? Opinions are much appreciated, thanks. Went from about 142 to maybe 168-170 right now

I want to cut starting monday cause my stomach is getting a little too big and getting a muffin top again lol.
My big three improved
BP went from 160 to 200 lbs (ive stalled the last few sessions though)
I had to lay off squats for a long while and neglected my legs because i had to get a cyst removed from my neck. I started squatting recently again and am at about 225 lbs but its increasingly easily
Deadlift from about 205 to 295
Were my strength gains about right?

Shouldn't take a rocket scientist to work that one out. A typical lunch for me 'clean bulking' is two chicken thighs, cup of brown rice, two egg whites and some leafy greens.
If your going to be cutting OP, you need to start counting calories and make up your own healthy lunch with lower calories in carbs.
Good job on bulk, but you did gain quite a bit of fat. You could have done it cleaner imo. and had the same gains. And had less fat to drop, clean up your diet!

yeah. and macros are important because if you want to gain muscle you gotta eat protein right? granted you need carbs and fats too but i wont get into that. so now lets say you're tryna drop weight, you still need the protein to prevent muscle loss etc and fats are such a small % of your macros so cutting that wouldn't be enough so you cut carbs.
and you CAN eat whatever you want as long as it fits your caloric goal but sometimes "dirty" foods will have lots of calories but not the right macronutrient breakdown you'll be looking for

Looks like you added some muscle and a lot of fat. Cut down, and take it easier on the next bulk. If you gain more than 2-3lbs a month, you're adding a lot of fat.
I made the same transformation (from 140 - 165) but it took me a year to do, and I added nowhere near the amount of fat you did. So I know it's possible.
