Hey ya'll first post, just wanted to hear any feedback on my current gym routine. My current goal is to burn some fat and add definition. Currently i'm 6ft 197lbs, age 24. Feel free to offer any modifications/improvements
My diet is usually the same mon-fri. consists of
oatmeal & protein bar for breakfast
chicken for lunch
fruit smoothie with peanut butter sandwich and 2 gnc energy/metabolism pills around 6
chicken salad or tri tip sandwich with a gnc wheybolic shake
usually around 1800 calories a day
The workout routine is Mon-Fri
Monday: Chest
Bench (1st set 115lb/15 reps, 2nd-4th set 135/10 reps, 5th set 145/10reps, 6th set bar x50
Flies (3-6sets alternate between cable & dumbells. 10 reps roughly 30lb dumbells)
Incline/decline ( sets 115 lb/10 reps)
Tues: Back & Bicep
Bicep (consists of 3-4 exercises. 3 sets of 10 reps. curl 35lb dumbells, 80lb curling bar, etc)
Back (3 exercises, rows, lat pull downs, and pull downs with close grip)
Wed: Legs
Dead lift ( 3 sets 10 reps, 135lb 185lb and 225lb)
squats (3 sets of 10 185 lb)
Leg Press (3 sets of 10 w/3 plates)
Calf raise
Lunges 3 sets
Thurs: Same as Mon
Fri: Bicep & Shoulder
Bicep (same as Tues)
Shoulder( 3 sets of 10 reps with 45 lb dumbell press, 3 sets of 10 rep military press 115lbs, and 3 sets of 10 shrugs)
Each workout is followed by running 1 mile and light ab exercises.
