Misc, why do I shake when I lift? (10k Reps).

Doesn't matter the weight, even light I shake.

Could it be because I always do HIIT before I lift?...

Not sure what it is, but even below 50% of my max, I'm shaking.

I was speaking bench mostly, but even on lifts such as tricep pulldowns.

Just going too heavy or what? I notice with tricep pulldowns, it's when I'm nearing exhaustion though, bench, it's just whenever.

Strange though, since I've been doing dumbbell incline for awhile.

No idea why I'm so shaky.

    muscle imbalance?
I have only one superstition..never sleep thirteen to a bed!

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandad did, in his sleep...not screaming like the passengers in his car

A New Zealander is walking along the road with a sheep under each arm,
He meets another man who says "you sheerin mate?" and the first guy replies "naw theyre all mine"

What is the difference between erotic and kinky?
Erotic is using a feather..kinky is using the whole chicken

Need to clarify the exact type of shaking we're talking about. There's the jittery, trembling kind of shaking that you get when you're "wired" on too many stimulants, little kids who eat too much sugar on Halloween, people with Parkinson's Disease, etc. Then there's also the "wobbly" shakes that you get when you try to support something that's too heavy. They are very different.

If you're getting the first type of shakes, like where you just try and hold your hand out flat and it vibrates on its own, then something dietary may definitely be the issue (or something like Thermocin if you're very sensitive to caffeine).

If it's the second, meaning that you literally only shake when actually doing a rep of an exercise then you are simply using too much weight. If you cannot maintain strict form you need to back off the weight. It is quite possible that some of your smaller stabilizer muscles need to catch up to your other muscles.

Another thought. Could it be that your blood sugar is low? I've noticed that when I eat clean and I go past 4 hours without food that I get the shakes. Eat a meal with some complex carbs and it goes away. Do you have a shake or any food before you go into the gym?

    reps for a noob?

with tricep extensions, i would blame your core

on bench, i have a problem with my right shoulder and when i get near exhaustion with only one or two reps left, my whole right arm starts to shake and its pretty hard to keep it stable

with that said, i stopped doing bench and just switched to dumbells with no problem anymore
I rep back 60% of the time, every time.

Just going too heavy or what? I notice with tricep pulldowns, it's when I'm nearing exhaustion though, bench, it's just whenever.

Strange though, since I've been doing dumbbell incline for awhile.

No idea why I'm so shaky.
Do you use smith machine a lot?? Try DB bench for a while to build up stabilizers. That should help. For tri's its probably because you are exhausted. How long have you been doing dbinclines?

Repped, it's strange, even at lighter weight on chest I am a bit shaky. It could be just because of stimulants + / the cardio.

I haven't had a machine lift as my main lift for a lonngggg time. That was when I was first getting back into lifting and didn't have a gym membership over a year ago. I just got back into lifting ~2 months ago, a little over now. Had a partial bicep tear from arm wrestling a friend.

I always do Dumbbell Incline -> Flat BB -> Chest Flies -> Exhaustion Chest Press machine, but generally after the first two, I'm destroyed since I do quite a few sets on dumbbell incline. After BB Bench, most are to just finish me off.

Only used it once for squats when the power rack was taken, and I was in a hurry.

EDIT: Lulz, and for upright rows, but I don't count that because I go light on those generally.
