I got a quick question for you guys. So i just wrapped up the 3rd week of P90X last week, then i sprained my ankle severely, grade 3 to be exact. The Dr. said that i have to wear a non-weight bearing boot for 3 weeks. So do you guys think i should start from day 1 again after im all healed up???

Depends on your current level of fitness. I've dropped 10% BF and "made gains" on the exercises in the program. If you are already progressing in the gym, then keep at it. If your daily workout consists of lifting the remote with your left arm and a slice of pizza with your right then P90X might be more suited to your needs.

P90X gave me neg reps and wasted my time!!
I did p90x for a month then I got bored. I though it was gay and useless. Ive seen more results in the gym in a month then I have with p90x. Go sell it and buy a gym membership and go grocery shopping.
P90x is what gave me neg reps lol
Somebody wanna help a brother out with some pos reps lol

3 wekks into the program isnt too far. i would say you need to start over. since you most likely be able to do any type of workout, make sure you keep your diet in check. as for the people hating on p90x, it isnt for everybody, but it is a structed program that can provide results if done correctly. it is actually a pretty intense workout (i am no mr fitness nor am I extremely out of shape). No, it wont make you huge, but it is a good endurance builder and will help you lose weight and get into decent shape (tons of pushups, pull ups and leg exercises).

I've done P90X and think it's a great all around program. At the time I ordered it, it was the right program for ME.
People who are members of a bodybuilding website are already educated, motivated and not the target market for this product.....maybe before we stared exercising and working out.
I was watching the golf channel when I ordered it. There's a reason they advertise on infomercials or in general weight loss magazines and not in Muscle & Fitness.
For the most part, the program appeals to people who can't get themselves into shape on their own. They need a program that is well structured and layed out with a step by step process to follow. Just throw in a DVD, follow along, plus read this book and eat what we tell your you (or general guidelines for what to eat). Plus you can do it in your own home without feeling insecure or embarrassed.
2/3 of the US is considered overweight. Fortunately this forum is in the minority. That was the case for me. I needed to lose weight. The program delievered, and I then expanded and found this site and have new goals I'm working on.
The company has sold 3MM copies (that does not include all the ones on eBay or people who downloaded torrents). Beachbody is going after the 2/3. Yes they're making money marketing a product and trying to sell people on expensive supplements, but they're doing it while keeping people entertained and motivated to workout reguarly, workout hard, and eat healthy.
What's so wrong with that?
It's not like they're buying banner ads on this site and saying "Forget SS, Madcow, or All Pro's. Get real results with P90X."Last edited by golfwolf; 03-01-2011 at 08:59 AM.
