BEST way to increase deadlift fast for a meet

What would be the best rep ranges or routine to follow to get your deadlift up quick.

my max is 405x4 reps at 17 yrs old. I need to get it up for a local powerlifting meet thats gonna happen in may.

any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    impossible to know best way

if you go as hard as possible you will see results.

its good to go to heavy singles at least once a week though imo. I would deadlift at least twice a week heavy as you can go no more then 5 reps on any set.

    Step 1: Walk into gym.
    Step 2: Max on deadlifts.
Step 3: Follow the routine SirWaz posted above.

You can try this 10 week deadlift routine. Has worked great for me.

He doesn't need a fancy routine, but he obviously lacks the skills to create one on his own. Hence linking him to a routine that has proved successful for many is a reasonable solution. He should be more than capable of plugging in a max and then following the routine.

This is what I have been doing lately, and has helped me a lot (5-10lbs a week).

    -warm up
    -set of 5.
-set of 3. 30-40lbs higher than last set
-PR set of 3. 5-10lbs more than last week

this is how it would look:

    -225 for 8
    -315 for 5
    -365 for 3
    -405 for at least 3

Add 5-10lbs on last set every set.
    ALL SINGLE PLY @ 163
    GYM.........................MEET............GOALS
    SQ-550.......................501.............585
    BP-375.......................369.............402
    DL-505.......................479.............525

    605lbs. reverse band squat.
    450lbs. reverse band bench.

    Go Dawgs!

On the road to an eventual 1450 pounds equipped total at 163 pounds body weight.
