    deadlift form (video)

    what say you...250 sorry im weak lol...this is my 5rep max ..thanks brah...the bar is coming up and down my shins and thighs but im not sure if my butt is too high up..i only go as low as my shins touch the bar and my back is straight...maybe i need more of an arch to activate more legs ?? thanks sorry for the camera its all i got

    Your set up is balls. Bend your knees until your shins are pulled into the bar. Then you'll have a good starting position. You might be starting the pull with your shins too close.

    my foot is cut in half right above my shoelaces then i bend as low as my shins touch the bar

    Yeah your butt is too high cos you didn't set up right. Think about keeping your chest up, that'll help your arch.

    Pulling back your shoulders and keeping them tight with a little look up has really helped my arch and pull. This will help bring your chest up.

    You aren't supposed to pull your shoulders back, they should be just over the bar.

    At any respectable weight, the shoulders cannot remain retracted in that way. The OP is better served by learning to lift his chest to achieve lumbar extension.

    I guess Ill shut up then. I guess I just think its my shoulders when technically thinking about it as its more my chest and tight back, I just used the shoulders as I way to imagine it and it is more of a tight back.
