    Trying IF for just one day?

    I figured since its Sunday and I don't have school to plan my meals around, I want to try IF.

    It seems like this diet has started become more popular on the forums as of late..

    I would be working out at about 1 OR 3 later today..

    Any suggestions?

    i doubt that doind it for one day would beneficial, you should try it for a few weeks to get the benefits

    It takes at least a few days to adapt to the diet protocol, so adhering to it for just one day doesn't make a lot of sense. And, either way, how much benefit could you possible derive from eating a certain way for a single day?

    Takes about 2 weeks to fully adjust to IF. And if you wanted to do it today you needed to start yesterday by making sure you ate enough/right to make it through the fast successfully.

    I am going to do a 1 day bulk tomorrow. I hope to gain 50 grams

    Seriously though, as others have said you need to give it time - it doesn't feel good for the first week or so.

    won't provide any benefit doing it for one day, but you'll get to enjoy a heck of a meal. I fast if i know i'm going out drinking/eating in the evening. I enjoy myself a little more with minimal damage

    The suckage lasted about 3 weeks for me.. but the bigger meals compensated.. for sure

    So how much over do I have to eat from my day to day calories to make a successful transition into IF? Currently I am at 2500 calorie intake. My maintenance is 2800. Want to do IF because from what I have been reading it will make my life a whole lot simple and eating 1000 calorie plus meal sound great especially before bed.
