had me lol'ing hard for a minute straight, strong username to post content ratio.
anyways, update for third day, they look like they are gaining strength, move around more briskly and squeal, whimper etc. good thing that they can do that. more active.
they shat, pee, and eat. so far they eat more, if not the same amount everytime 2 hours when they get fed the formula. also, they are growing fuzz all over. srs, in a matter of 2 days they went from hairless to slight slight peach fuzz, all good signs. so far so good, lets keep our fingers crossed. just finished feedin towelie and the gang, and now they're back to sleep while i try and get this physics done lolfailwhale.
everyday they live, the higher the chances of survival as they gain strength.
pics and videos of progress when and if they survive. don't wanna say anything good or bad as of now, just keep going with it, and see what happens.Last edited by FFAZARI; 02-27-2011 at 07:30 PM.

My gf and I found and raised a baby squirrel (inb4 awwww cute). Shoot me a PM if you want the info. They are really bitchin pets but you have to feed them every 4 hours for a month or so. I didn; read thread, are you gonna take em somewhere or what?
edit: read a bit sounds like you're on top of it. Super cool pets, especially after 4 weeks or so once they start climbing/going F'ING CRAZY all over you!

OP, if you ever release them, tie a small band to their legs so you can visit them in their natural habitat haha

i had a squirrel, i loved him to death. played with him every day. not sure they'll live since they're that young.. but they might.
make sure you buy a dropper and give them a lot of water.. and pet formula.

^^^^ i was thinkin the same thing, but if they've all lived for three days and seem to be developing, i would think thats a great sign for their chances of survival. OP seems to be taking great care of them.
oh and cute squirrel brahfrankenstein for president

he must have found them recently after they fell then. good job op. i still see my squirrel sometimes.. i released him in early march.. found him during the fall. (2009 fall, released 2010 march).. and he's still alive.
best thing to do OP is to take him outside once he starts getting a little more adult. he MAY run off, climb up a tree, and look 'stuck'.. but he's a fukkin squirrel, leave the door open and he'll come back in to his cage.
named my little budy Igor because he had a busted up leg and limped when i found him.. he was so tiny lmao. there's a hole in the screen porch and he climbs in and i'll find a pile of nut shells on the table sometimes.. or see him looking inside the windows sometimes."Sa souvraya niende misain ye ... he'd probably jump on me, but i'd be a little nervous since he's been wild for a year or so..
no doubt in my mind he'd jump on me though haha. if he bit me it'd be because i scared him. when he finally left his cage for good about a week later he brought another squirrel into the porch and basically introduced it to us.. the other squirrel was like fck this **** im outta here."Sa souvraya niende misain ye ... I respect your effort OP.
That said, if you're really serious about saving them, you need to start regurgitating food for them to eat. It would be best if you feed them directly by mouth but then again these aren't ideal conditions.

bmy... what say you to this?
and also, i think that the OP raising the squirrels from such a young age is a pretty cool nature vs nurture experiment. it will be cool to see if its basically the same as squirrels born wild, or if its natural instincts kick in completely.frankenstein for president

my squirrel had fur when i found him, he lived off of pet formula and mushed up dry dog food and water. the biggest issue was keeping him hydrated when he was small.
at that age they drink the mothers milk, so i think pet formula would be best.. i gave igor formula till he stopped wanting it tbh."Sa souvraya niende misain ye ... I am lost in my own mind"

Subbed. My dad did this with a raccoon but once it got big it started f*cking things up by going through the cupboards and fridge n sh!t, then when he set it free it kept breaking back in.

OP is a very good person
my dad saved a seagul when i was small, it grew up with us and i remember it sitting on my dogs head for a ride often lulz
also we saved some small bird who made a nest in our boat. the parents abandoned their birds for some reason so we took care of the birds. once we were on the lake and the bird ****ing jumped in the water (it couldnt fly yet) my dad jumped in and saved it.
