Small unexplained cuts appearing on body (pic)

I was just sitting on the lounge watching tv and felt a stinging sensation on my wrist, i looked down to see a thin cut with a bit of blood pooling on top of it:

Now, i've been noticing fresh cuts almost every day - they are usually around 2-4 inches and will appear all over my body - legs, abdomen, arms, thighs, etc

Can anybody explain what the **** could be causing it?

I used to put it down to my cat doing it while i was sleeping, but my cats been dead for 2 weeks now and i've been getting them more frequently than ever
