Should I stop working out my obliques?

Hey everyone, I am currently bulking, and I keep reading around here that working out your obliques gives you a wider waist. Now my question is can somebody post up a picture of somebody who works out their obliques (resulting in wider waist) vs someone who does not work on their obliques? I can't decide if I should stop training them or not. I mean I want them to show, but I do not want to start looking wide and boxy. I am not much of a fan of having a HUGE lat spread, so I mean that's definitely not one of the reasons for me to take into consideration.

    Thanks guys

I workout my obliques, at least used to. I think if your below 10%BF go for it, if not then don't. It makes it look like you got love handles.

I work my obliques once a week with my abs. I mix it up with side bends and rotational exercises. Your BF% is going to be the biggest factor in how big you look though.

I stopped working mine all together, they get plenty of work IMO with regular ab workout.

I usually do 9 sets of obliques on my ab days. I mean looking at my self in the mirror I feel like I am a bit wide, but I believe that is because I still have some fat on my sides. I just don't want to end up looking like TOO wide. Basically is everybody over exaggerating the wide look, because they just want to have a massive lat spread?

Huge obliques are badass man, you just have to be cut enough to make them look good.
The usefulness of a cup is in its emptiness.

    OH YEAH!!

I will do today what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't.
