I don't get how some people have such a hard time to decide if they look good or not. Anyway, some indicators that you're ugly:

If people want to hook you up with ugly women or say that an ugly girl and you would make a cute couple you're ugly.

If you never get a compliment for your looks you're ugly. I've never been told that I'm good-looking, only that somethings about me looks better than it did before. For example when I cut my hair, I never heard "You look good" but only "Looks better than before".

People tell me I look a lot like my dad and my mum used to say that my dad isn't physically attractive but that it's something about his character that makes him attractive. If people think your parents are ugly you probably are as well.

I been thinking of this in the same way as how do I know I'm ugly? Another situation came to mind I was sitting in a pub with friends (two couples). I can't remember how the conversation went but one guy said you should just take whatever you can get and his girlfriend had to give him that sort of sly dig for him to shut up even though it's true. The thing is the guy is short, very skinny and nerdy looking while his girlfriend is morbidly obese. If these people think I'm ugly than I must look really bad. You get days when you look in the mirror and think well I'm not bad but every reaction a girl has towards you tells you different.

Surely the opposite must be true when you're good looking? People just tell you in drunken convo's or whatever. You can see in the mirror. Women always look at you admiring. I always catch women looking at my gym partner and he always has random girls adding him on ********.

I catch a few girls staring at me but i put that down to being tall & wondering what the hell race i am.

I've also noticed on a few occasions that i'll have a back & forth with people, so one girl where i buy food, she'll keep looking over but again i'm tall so i'll find any excuse to why she's doing it.

I'm not very confident so whenever someone compliments me i put it down to them just being nice for the sake of it lol.

Maybe they're just flattering you or being polite. You get these old ladies who pretty much class everyone under 40 as a handsome young man, unless they're like the elephant man. These are comments that I can pretty much brush off.

I've had the "what about you and (insert name of ugly girl here)?" aswell, as if the person whos trying to hook you up is doing their best not to go above 5/10 as that would be unrealistic. I've also had former work colleagues try and indicate that I didn't deserve to have standards and should settle for MILFs, fat chicks etc.

I've had afew girls admire me, but these have been few and far between. Usually they totally blank me and don't give me a second look.

Edit: Some girls give you this standoffish bull**** if you're handsome and muscular. It's like a defense mechanism or they assume you have a big ego. It's easy to break down the bitch shield if you're witty and smile though.

Went to a private grade school when I was a kid, girls there always used to tease me so when they said I was cute I thought they were joking. Freshmen year of high school this girl got her friend to walk up to me to say I was cute, wanted to go out, etc. I thought she was joking like the other kids. Same thing happened a few months later. It's not until recently (2 years ago) that I learned that apparently I'm attractive, lawlz.
