I'm between 5ft9 and 5ft10 in height (barefoot) but I'm feeling short and helpless whenever I'm out, be that getting groceries, gym, cinema, pubs, bars, mall... you name it. My pride is hurt because people round my area base so much of a mans worth/respectability by his height.
I ask other guys that are in the 5ft9 range are you feeling the same? Is it short? Should I just accept that I'm short? Guys over 5'11 or 6'0 do you look at us 5'9 guys and think "he's short as f¶¶k - must suck to be him?
This is dominating my life (srs). I'm always judging and comparing my height and it's driving me mad.

5'9" is tall by my standards. I like 5'9" guys more than 6'0"+ guys. Not that there's anything wrong with them either, and not that this helps any.
By the way, people disrespect short girls too. They think they can just push you around like a little kid..you have to work extra hard just to get people to not talk over you.

I'm 5'3.5", and it does NOT bother me one bit, and it doesn't seem to affect my ability in acquiring women. I simply carry myself in such a manner that either A- people think i'm a few inches taller (personality is the cause), or B- or that I have total confidence and my height is a non-issue.
Stop worrying about crap you cannot control. Just get in better shape than the other dudes, or smarter than them or something like that.

I'm 5'11, and as laughable as it sounds, even to my own ears, I'm actually developing a fcukn complex about being short. EVERY single male seems to be over 6ft tall these days, I feel like a midget in a sea of giants some days.
It doesn't help that my wife is the same height as me, if not a millimetre or so taller even.
If I won the bonanza billion lotto, I'd get that leg-breaking height-extension surgery done, just to get an extra inch or two to put me over the edge into the safe zone.
Also never ceases to fcukin piss me off that every other male in my whole extended family is 6ft and over, I'm the shortest in the whole fcuking clan.

I'm 5'6.5 and feel like a midget around people. All my friends are taller than me, and I wear shoe lifts to increase my height
I plan on getting height surgery in 5-8 years though(length limbthening surgery for a better term). Currently saving money. My dream height is to be 5'8.5-5'9. That way, no girls will even be near my height, and I still wouldnt be classified as "really short". i would kill to be 5'9 and be close to avg

Honestly, 5'9.5" is not that bad at all. I am not 5'11" exactly. By doctor's measurements I an 5'10.5". I don't feel short, because I'm happy with my height. I see people taller than me frequently. Many women I walk past are taller than me or around my height. I am also taller than many people as well. Height is something you cannot control, so no point being stuck up about it. I may not be the tallest, but I have a big presence, despite not being much of a talker. MNy girlfriend also loves that I'm the height I am not too tall or too short (she is 5'5").

I don't disrespect shorter guys, but I feel miserable when someone is taller and bigger than me. 6'2 here.
but also you can buy shoes with high platform that will give you 2-3 inch ez, and will be unnoticeable. it can help you to reduce your complexes when socializing around... my teacher has them, they are comfy, unnoticeable and give you 5-8 cm ez
