Sorry if this is a repost, i was just wondering how you guys are tracking your macros? I have been writing mine out for years but i'm sure there's an easier way, like an internet site, software or cell phone app?
Thanks

I've got an excel spreadsheet with the macros of the 50 or so foods that I regularly eat, so every day I just spin down column A entering 150g of this or 3 slices of that, and it churns the numbers out.
Once you've got your stuff loaded in, it takes about 2 minutes a day to do everything.________________________________

I use MyPlate (aka Livestrong.com). It has every commercial food I have ever searched for and fits my purposes so I have no need to switch. I am sure there are better ones out there though.
Does anyone know of a site which also has an Android app that is linked to the online tracking? I would switch for that. Preferably one that is as complete as the major calorie tracking sites.
EDIT: Myfitnesspal fits that. Looking into it..

I started off with pen & paper
I've been using FitDay for the past 3-4 years
but atm looking into fitnesspal and burnfat as mentioned above, perhaps they are better, they seem to have better graphs and tracking, they have overloaded FitDay with ads in the past year
fitday's iphone app sucksLast edited by aljick; 02-25-2011 at 05:30 AM.

Perfect Diet Tracker. I bought it on the Mac App store - was $15 when I got it in January. I think you can buy it from their website for Linux and Windows, too.
I got it on a whim, it's better than fitday which I used for about a year. PDT will track your sugar, which is cool. It's also got a huge ass database.
I'd say it's worth the money, but if you want free, fitday.com is the second best.

I've used fitday, dailyburn, nutridiary, etc. So far the easiest to quickly set up and input stuff, with a huge database of exact foods I use (store brand names/restaraunt/my own recipes, etc.) is livestrong.com. It tells you what you're macros are at for the day, and cal totals and stuff...which is all I really need
