ive never been to the US. seems like a good population of people though.

i feel like in the US it would be x2 (or more) easier to make money. some things would also cost less. (appliances, gadgets, cars etc.)

seems like a cool place to live. but its just not for me.

Ive been to America so my perception is that your not really that much different from us.

A lot of my friends think that it is full of fat people and that your accents are whiny and annoying, but nearly everyone says that they would like to live in the US.

they think their the best cuz they have awesome military power (not denying they dont). But most of them seem uneducated and way to patriotic. Frauds - since they portray themselves as very good looking and/or party animals but in reality this is only in a few select cities on the coast. Dont they also have one of the worlds highest obesity rates? Also a lot of violence in their well known cities that goes unsolved. Too harsh on drug use or any criminal activity for that matter.

In general I love that I live in Canada.

I think most people have an ignorant view of the US. They say American's are ignorant. But that in itself is an ignorant, and narrow minded perception!

America is one of the most diverse countries on Earth. You literally have representations of people from almost every part of the World. Not only that, you also have different geographic regions. Its almost like your spoiled for choice.

And despite all that diversity, most foreigners still group everything American into one category. But, I can see why they do that. A lot has changed in the World, especially over the last 20 years. I think mostly it due to politics, and Bush's influence in the War in Iraq. Most European countries were against the war, and governments felt pressured to send troops. I'm sure there are other reasons, but from the people I speak to, that seems to be the main one.
