Foam rolling saved my knees (srs) I have an insanely tight IT band. It was getting so bad I couldn't squat for **** anymore and had major pain just walking around. After rolling seriously for awhile it's fixed everything. I recommend it to anyone with knee pain.

Also AMAZING if you work a desk job, roll your back before and after work for a near orgasmic release.

how long do you roll each muscle for?

find a spot wear it hurts hold for 30-60 sec then roll up a little further until you dont feel tight

I read this Thursday night while I was still feeling dat doms from atg squats on Tuesday so I tried some foam rolling at the gym on Friday before and after deadlifts and it immediately helped. My glutes and inner hammys were so tight and today I feel great. I did it right across from the cardio bunnies and not a single **** was given. Need to buy one though, I like your idea better of doing it at home watching tv. Any rhyme or reason to when you do it, or mainly post workout?

Foam rolling feels sooooooooo good after squatting. I highly recommend it, because I notice a difference in muscle soreness from not using it compared to using it.

they are pretty standard in athletics.. a good way to loosen up muscles. Idk about growing more, but you'll be able to get back under the bar faster (which will help you grow more)
