i purchased this game early this year and finally played it for more than 30mins. Played on some dudes jtv server and i lost track of time and ended up building for like 4hours at night. I didnt really like the game to much before but i now really like it.

Remember what you told me when I wanted to buy black ops? It's literally 20 bucks and you will probably spend 5 hours a day playing your first two weeks. The mods on the server are really fun too and will get you hooked easily. I'd hurry up cuz our town is getting full and doesn't seem like anyone wants to expand so if we get full, we get full. So much trolling goes on in our town it's worth it alone for the trolling.

Not to mention fuzze put on double xp for the next two weeks.

It's a mod on the server. Usually you mine or gather stuff and you get one of that item right? A mod on the server makes it so every time you mine something, you get xp towards that skill and the higher the skill the higher chance of gaining more than one diamond.

really? I was always fond of vent over TS when we would raid in WoW, but i did feel like TS had better codecs when playing 1.6. ohwell
odds are ill buy this game over the weekend to troll with squirrel to make my beloved dre rage because i've missed it so much on XBL.

is the info in the OP current? or can someone cliffs me the server and all the info i'll need.

TS had a major upgrade about 18-24 months ago, now it reallly kicks ass. I have not kept up with it, so vent may have improved since then...dont know.

Anyone know who that random was who joined the server last night, requested to be added to a city and said "im only looking for somewhere to build while my main server is fixed...like 30-40 minutes".

I jumped on this server last night (have a RL friend who uses it) and cot damn. I never thought something could be too big, but this is. I spent 5 minutes riding a cart to wherever it went, then walked for 10 minutes and could not find a single plot of land that was not filled up with someones sht.

I can see on the map there is a ton of empty space, but i dont feel like walking for 2 days just to get there.

I started at 0 last night and almost back to 200 on mining and I think 60 for sword skills.

I don't have arrows to get my archery skill up in your "rain forest" or what ever its called.

We already have a Vent server that people can use...ill give you details in the game...
Vent > Teamspeak IMO...the audio is great if you have a decent mic.

Cool....already got a set of plantronics 377's from my PC game days. When i see you on ill bug ya.

So i take it Java is not the friendliest code for servers to run. Seems like lag pops up regardless of server load, and im seeing it on servers that are overkill so its not the hardware.

Yes ill give you guys the info later tonight when i get home...same rules apply as on the server though. There are some kids who get on the vent from time to time, and others that just dont want to listen to you idiots im sure...so if your gonna rage/misctalk keep it to the Minecraft channel lol

Create new server: type in server information i give you, press connect.

The server is split up into separate chat channels you just click on to join..

Download Ventrilo and make a profile on it and ill give out the server info later...

I don't build servers *******. I can use a computer, I can't set up a website and sht like that.
