So is there some tutorial somewhere on how to make glass lava spheres? Trying to make a sweet lighthouse, but the lava physics in this game make absolutely no sense to me, and I'm tired of trying to figure it out.

Finished the shell/roof/room layout. Now I need to fill the rooms with ****. Ill make a vid of a walkthrough of it later maybe

okay brahs, found out how to make my own server that shows up on the minecraft page!
Once i get home ill set everything up and see if i can make it a legit server like all the others.
Max players will be 16 players until i get my other computer fixed which should take about an hour.
Name of the server will be CLIVESBICEPS
(unless you guys have idea's)
HAVE TEH FUNZ!

Guys that know about hosting servers and sich:
Do i need a strong computer or a strong internet connection?
I have a laptop that i wanna use to run the server 24/7. I dont want my energy bill to triple... yall know what i mean..
I have a strong internet connection tho, around 15mbps.

the server will lag badly for anyone who connects unless youre running the laptop dedicated, which im assuming you arent (playing while hosting)
its all about your upload speed and trust me when i say its going to lag bad for other people. you need a dedicated host or a fat connection, not a typical 20mb

If windows server aint good im going with xp sp3.
The laptop will not be touched, i have my own laptop, the one im going to use to run the server is like 6 years old and it was my sisters.

i went into properties and went to ipv4
what should i change? Its set to
General:
Obtain an ip address automatically
Obtain DNS server address automatically
In alt configurations:
Automatic private IP adress
