    What's a 'ab day?'

Are the abs some different kind of muscle that you can overtrain like crazy and they'll get bigger?

    Derp.

As of now I only do abs twice a week, mainly because my bodyfat is too high to see them, but I know they are there already. But anyway, every time I do them I limit to about six sets. I personally feel you can train them just about as often as you want to and get results, but every day is unnecessary.

Hanging leg raises (straight legged, you can add weight if needed)-2x20
    Oblique "twist" machiene-2x15 @150
Side crunch machiene(there are many variations of this you can do with or without a machiene)-2x15-20
