    Got the 3 x 315 again today, sick and on antibiotics. I'm competing in Feb and looking for a 350. I feel like my legs are never going to let me down so I have been adding core work to most workouts as my fails seem to be a buckle at the middle.

    Here is my last PB squat. hoping for more in a few weeks.

    Nice work guys, but some of you should really consider setting the "oh ****" bars a notch or two higher - especially without a spotter. It should be just a bit below your normal squat depth for safety.

    210kg squat pr

    Managed a 5kg pr to hit a 210kg squat (462lbs) at 88kg (194lbs).

    Having great success with the Candito 6 week program since ive been able to improve my pr by 5kg (11lbs) every cycle. (Cycle is 6 weeks but i take longer due to work, family, and other delay factors)

    Feels a bit pathetic after Scot's 205kg at much the same bodyweight as me, but I was stoked to finally hit 400lb yesterday...

    182.5kg/402lb @ 86.7kg (191lb)



    Just can't even imagine what 500lb must feel like on your back. One day maybe...

    You are doing fine Flounderbout. I reached 185kg on exactly 1st of March 2015 (see youtube "scotpak100") and this weekend I managed to get 210kg.
    The candito 6 week programme has been great for my squats. Also signing up for a powerlifting meet is a great motivational tool.

    Fantastic lift man! What Candito program are you running? I was looking into the 6 week intermediate strength program and it looks pretty good. Just wondering your thoughts, Candito is my favorite powerlifter!

    Had to come in here as well to congratulate you bud! So much hardwork went into this and it was an absolute pleasure to watch you get to this point. I hope to one day have a squat I am proud enough of to post here!

    Yes exactly, the 6 week intermediate program. I do my own stuff for bench but use it for squats and DLs.

    You might need to run the first week a couple of times to get used to the volume. Also doing heavy DLs after heavy squats can be very tiring but u will adapt to it quickly.
