I think there are some girls that will pretty much always monkey branch because they want to feel secure and therefore test the waters a bit. That could either be because they're unhappy with the relationship and it should end regardless, or because they're always looking to trade up. Both happen.

This is from talking to girls who I'm just friends with, so they are being honest. Too many stories of having a short breakup of like a weekend or slightly longer, where the guy doesn't think much of it. lol @ anyone that decides to "take a break." I've never seen that work out long term. A few extra months maybe? Sure. But those relationships always seem to fail in the long run.
