This woman is really one of my hero's. She was married to a gay man in the 1970's, he latter contracts HIV and dies. She was a renouned Mormon poet and author and bravely spoke out by writting a book telling her story back in 1985. At the time I was so firmly in the closet I didn't even dare look at it.
In this clip in the first 4 minutes she exsplains the wonder of homosexuals and why we have no business trying to change them. Sorry I don't know how to embed. It is well worth watching at least the first 5 min.

Definately not a choice, I don't remember ever having any attraction to women. I tried my best, at 14 I bought a penthouse and hoped that would work. It didn't, tried dating women, therapy marriage.
