Na, I'm half English, actually I lived in England until I was 22, and have never experienced anything negative. My dad is Italian so I blend in, but the attitude towards England here is really positive and friendly.

they see england as "cool", and if you look english (pale, blonde or light brown hair), then the women will love you. If I'm talking to a cute girl I sometimes exaggerate my english accent since I know they'll like it.

If you're eastern european on the other hand then yeah they will be hostile, think you are a gypsy or begger, etc. But then thats not much different from in england i guess.
