Do only incline work then. You don't need to do flat and decline and flies and the whole ordeal every workout. My suggestion is to treat incline bench as the main movement and utilize your strength towards that exercise. Try to minimize shoulder involvement on incline presses.

You could try Reverse Grip Bench press. It is supposed to hit your upper chest 30% more than incline benching. And since i have added a few sets of them to my routine i have noticed a difference so give them a try for a bit and see how it goes

Do you do them on a smith? I just recently tried them, but I didn't want to mess my wrists up using a barbell. It felt strange. I think it hits the triceps a bit more but I could see how the upper chest is worked.

I just do them on a regular bench with a barbell, and i agree they are a little awkward at first, but i haven't had any problems with my wrists while doing them. Just go with a lighter weight until you've got the form down and you feel comfortable with it before you go heavy on em

This thread reminds me of near the end of Akazukin Chacha when Yakko was punching a bag and yelling "chesto!"

I use this exercise in every chest workout I do and have for about 10 years now. I find it much more comfortable and natural than regular BB bench.
