    Because i always hear about Ppl carbing up right before a comp. To look fuller or something. And to be honest ever since i started keto i have been looking smaller/flatter/less full

    Keto sucks. You will have no energy. Your workouts will be a waste.

    What I do when cutting is keep protein constant in every meal, but taper off carbs throughout the day. For example, if my diet were a graph, the protein line would be parallel to the x-axis, and my carbs would be a line with the equation y=-x, a.k.a. downward sloping

    Example:
    Breakfast - 60g protein, 75g carbs

Anyone who has done low/no carb dieting has felt the effects of feeling "flat" and looking smaller, and then having fuller muscles after a cheatmeal/refeed. It will also affect your gym performance accordingly.

    It's kind of up to you. I could never do keto because, who the hell wants to restrict carbs that much? Dieting shouldn't be so damn agonizing.

    Keto works just as any high protein/calorie-moderated diet does. Is it better than having a "normal" diet where carbs are included? Absolutely not.

    Are you at a healthy caloric deficit? Did you hit your protein requirements?

    Ask that before you go to bed each night. If you answer 'yes' to each, then you did what you needed to do.
