A guitar thread? **** yes.
Noob question, can we post our youtube videos here and get opinions from other guitarists or do you get flamed for that here?

Here, I can't post links yet so just fix it in your browsers:
www . youtube. com/ user/HellomayIseeyourtits
It's mainly progressive metal, 3 Human Abstract covers and 1 BtBaM cover... I'd say my best video is Horizon to Zenith.
Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Going out of your way now to start ****, just like the mature adult you claim to be. I'll definitely make sure to go out of my way in every thread you post in now to let everyone know that you don't know what OFF-BEAT means. BTW, where are YOUR vids- because mine have already been posted and for some reason you think saying they haven't vilifies your idiotic rhetoric.
You suck at guitar and can't grasp the fundamentals of music. ::"throws peanuts":: You're pathetic.

Have you tried his Ocean Machine album? That was his best in my opinion...and if you still can't get into him after that then it probably isn't meant to be.

Does anyone here play guitar that doesn't like telling people they play guitar? Only my close friends now I play, and a lot at that. I feel like telling people, "yo bro, I play the guitar" can make some people come off as douchy. Am I just weird?

Finally going to take theory lessons soon, instead of being just self taught like I am now, excited to learn as much as possible and expand my playing..

Shawn Lane, in my opinion, is by quite a distance the greatest player who ever lived. And to rub it in, he was probably one of the top 20 or so keyboardists. He was the Liszt, or the Art Tatum of the guitar world. It's a crime that he is still virtually unknown. Probably because jazz fusion is only really listened to by muso's.
Check out the zyzz shorts on the bassist lol.
