Because agitating the strings with something gentle like breath can be more dynamic than a pick hitting a string. I used to get good feedback and overtones with this years back.
It should also be said that I neither have seen the video or even know what's going on therein. The assassins of freedom tend the burning of truth.

Switching to electric after playing acoustic for 8 years makes me wanna jump off a cliff
All of the songs I've written on acoustic sound like **** on electric, actually all of my playing sounds like **** on it. Way too much strumming and I can't find that lovely tone I'm looking for. My acoustic technique produces too much noise on electric. How long will it take to adjust ? Arghanother quality thread by wssicks

I can't for the life of me feel confident playing chords of 2 or more strings being hit at once... I don't understand how im supposed to pick them both, if I'm hitting them too hard, too soft, too slow? Whats the key to being able to play them cleanly and properly. I just want to play tabs but I don't know the techniques for replicating the sound I hear when playing a tab

[QUOTE=iTzDevo;1040872213]practice very slow and build precision. start with two-string power chords and work your way up to 5 string chords if necessary[/QUOTE
Im asking how do I do it though... should I hit the top cord hard enough to make it pop over to the next? or do I just slide over both really quick

How much is this ENCORE (60's-70's) guitar worth? Model in back says E-42 but I can't find ANYTHING on the net describing it. Its beat up, but i'm wondering if its worth anything to fix up and play.

no idea of it's worth but i'd fix it under the condition that it played and sounded good. old retro guitars like that are badass

sounds alright but it's very repetitive and 2 mins is pretty short for an instrumental piece. i like to think that instrumental tunes are meant to tell a story without lyrics and as such I write mine for 4-6 minute lengths in an A/B/A/C/B/D/C/A style and variants of that. not too much repetition and most of my songs tend to find their original theme near the end to conclude
