Oh, so he takes a bunch of things OTHER PEOPLE invented and throws them all together and that's being innovative? You must have a very broad definition of innovation.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
why do you have to always be negative? It is unique, and innovative...on some levels. Saying it isn't is pretty ridiculous in my opinion.
Again.....if it isn't unique......where is a video of someone else doing something similar? singing/detuning/retuning/ percussion.

I'm not a begineer, but I have kept getting frusturated and not making much progress, I've kinda made a schedule, I'm not sure if there is anything else I should add too it.. this is the schedule:
Theory
Notes
Scales
Chords
Songs
Those are what I'm practising in order, say 5-10mins each area give or take, I'm not sure if there is anything else I should add too it? I can play parts of songs and other things but can't even play a full song, I get distracted easily and frusturated because I don't feel I'm advancing very quick!

If you can't play chord changes quickly and cleanly, spend 50% of your time doing that, 25% learning songs and throw in whatever else you need. If you can play chord changes quickly and cleanly, spend 90% of your time learning songs. That's what you picked up the guitar for, right? You wanted to play songs, not study. Learn songs all the way through. It's not that hard man. Start off simple.

an hero , what is your problem? Stephen Bennett is WELL known as one of the best FINGERSTYLE guitarists. Maybe not one of the best guitarists, but fingerstyle yes.
Keep your stupid comments to yourself, If you don't like it... Don't watch it..! Simple!
Grow up and stop resorting to e-fighting just because you don't agree.
Thanks

Why we gotta fight? Because Willy isn't in here to kick around?
Perhaps it would best be served if there were an individual fingerstyle/acoustic thread? Then who can bitch that theres another vid?

I have never posted any of my playing in this thread before but I've been thinking I might as well. I've been posting in here for years.
I recorded this last night on a handheld recorder: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45177652/Com...0Breakdown.WAV
Harsh critiques are expected.

Anybody have tips how to develop thumb independence? I really need to up my playing and my thumb independence sucks.. I'm workin on taste of honey, and day tripper that tommy emmanuel plays.. Does it just come with tons of practice? It's a pain in the ass... lol.. But I'm hoping the more I practice the more it will feel natural..
