EDIT: I forgot to add this to the original review. I have a very sensitive stomach to any supplements, and this did not upset my stomach. So if that was a worry about the product I would say give it a try anyway, because if it didn't upset my stomach it shouldn't upset anyone's.
Controlled Labs - White Flood - Furious Fruit Punch
I know there are several reviews on this product, but every forum I'm on (trucks, cars, ect.) people like several reviews on the same things for the opinion of different people. Hopefully this will help someone make a decision. I planned on posting some pictures of the White Flood to make this a professional looking review but everytime i try to up load to photobucket is kindly tells me to eff off, but im sure everyone knows what the tub/powder look like anyway.
Background: I am a little guy (5'11", 160), I was always fast (approx. 4.4/40), and never worried with lifting that much due to lack of interest. As of October 2010 I started lifting weights and fell in love and have been lifting for roughly 3, 3.5 months (December was to hectic to do anything). As of last Monday (Feb. 7th) my one rep max on bench was 205, backsquat was 315, and deadlift was 225. I didn't feel i needed a pre workout supplement because I had motivation and desire and intensity. Well, everything stayed the same except the intensity, I could not get my body pumped enough to do anything, and i felt my training was suffering by not lifting heavier weight, not due to lack of strength but because of lack of intensity. After so research I decided to go with White Flood. Reasoning being, it seemed to not be as intense as some others, it didnt contain creatine, positive reviews along with MANY users on body space, and there is 10 dollars off right now.
Texture: The texture of the power is like a happy medium between chalk dust and very fine sugar, and it is very chalky on the hands.
Mix-ability: I mixed one scoop (serving size is one scoop, it recommends one to two scoops) with 10 oz. of cold water. It mixed fairly easily, in the shaker cup, but there was some settling and the bottom of the cup. I give the mix-ability a 7 out of 10.
Taste: I wasn't expecting much from the taste, but i was surprised. It isn't going to be the secret ingredient on iron chef anytime soon but it didn't make me want to punch a kitten either. It tasted like a glass of watered down juice and a little bit of medicine to me (everyone's taste is different). Drinking this 3-5 times a week definitely will not be a problem. I give the taste 7.5-8 out of 10.
Effect: I am not very sensitive to stims, however I have cut all caffeine from my diet since November. Since i havent had caffeine in a while i went with only one scoop. I expected all of the effects to hit my body in 15 minutes and was hoping for the best (not feeling cracked out or jittery ect.) After 30 minutes I felt nothing at all, and had all but considered today a wash. I would just do my workout and try 2 scoops tom. Well i hopped on a bike just to loosen up a little get warm and ready to go. After being on the bike for approx. 2 minutes i noticed the drowsiness began to fade and my energy started to rise. I went another 3 minutes on the bike felt pretty good and started bench press. throughout the entire workout i didn't fail once, i felt like i had taken 3 weeks off from working out again and could go all day. I did 135x10, 145x8, 155x6, 165x4, 175x2, 185x1. After this i felt like i had done nothing so i gave 205 a shot again and threw it off of me like i did 175 the previous week. Keep in mind 205 was my max a week ago. I felt great about everything and felt like a had my intensity back, and as i walk away to go do incline DB my friend puts 225 on the bar, so i figured what the hell why not give it a try. I got 225x1 and then proceeded to finish my workout. 3 hours later when i normally am fighting a nap with everything i have in me, i feel well rested and calm. There was no crash just a decrease in energy.
Conclusion: I hate i didnt give White Flood a try sooner. While they still offer 10 dollars off i will be purchasing 100 serving tub. I am thoroughly impressed and will turn to CL many times in the future. I want to try assault by MP next but white flood will definitely never run empty in my supplement stash.
Sorry if this was to long i just wanted to cover all bases or questions someone new may have regarding the topic. Hope to bring more reviews soon. Happy lifting.

i've just recently become a wf fan. I've tried quite a few pre-workouts and wf is currently my favorite (mostly due to the price per serving).
for me the one down side is i don't get as much of an energy boost as i do from other supps.
i like the fact that it does not have creatine so i can add my own amount in.
i also add about an extra gram of beta-alanine to it
edit: i got electric lemonade and i'm not a big fan of the taste"Moderation in discipline is failure"

I had this exact same feeling when I tried white flood a few days ago. I ended up purchasing both white flood and pumpfixx and when I took both, the effect was the same. You don't necessarily feel any different but when you hop on a bike for instance, you feel like you can just keep going.
I find this very odd though because with caffeine, you should at least feel something....Creator of:

White Flood is amazing yet again. My max at back squat was 315. No new max numbers but i did do 315 again today. after a pyramid from 135 to 275, and jogging a mile. After which i did a full leg workout. All of this was about 3 hours ago and no crash i still feel great. I will throw in a final update on friday, hopefully with a new deadlift max. I love having my intensity back.
