I bought some ON Hydro Whey today


I've heard mixed reviews on it and want to get some more opinions on it now that it has been out for over a year now

Is it really a scam just to make more money or is it actually legit stuff.

Should I return it or should I just use it like regular ON Whey....it's not gonna give me a negative effect on my gains correct?

There is no quantifiable benefit to whey isolate or hydrolyzed whey protein post workout. You're just as good with a good whey concentrate. Don't buy into the whole "speed" marketing hype from some companies. Unless you have digestive issues, in which case an isolate might be required for that purpose.

I saw some good results with mine. Really good if your trying to gain lean muscle mass.

optimum is a good company but the benefits you would see from hydro whey are so minuscule to non existent that it is certainly not worth the higher price.

If you want a fast acting protein make sure it doesn't have lactose in it. Lactose slows down the digestion rate. So if the other product doesn't have any in it either then I guess price and taste would determine which one you preferred. Regardless it's good to try new products.

No, soymilk does not contain lactose. Lactose is a sugar present in all animal milk, but does not occur in plants. Soy milk, which actually is not a milk but a juice, is obtained from soy beans, and not from animal origin and thus does not contain lactose.

Get your hydro whey from muscle feast. They use the same supplier as ON. and yes they don't taste that great but amazing recovery.

Overpriced, I'd go with gold standard whey if I had to choose an optimum product, can't go wrong w that.

I've been doing Aragon's "whatever form of protein is fine, as long as it's enough" thing and quit drinking protein postworkout altogether, opting to eat meat/eggs instead, much more satisfying. But I think this pursuit of hydro/isolate/expensive whey is a waste of money. Concentrate is fine, and most of them even contain lactase for the 1-2g of lactose per serving.

I would go with regular proten whey and Casien for night .

THATS IT. NOTHING ELSE except natural stuff like eggs and meats and veg.

people seem to have nothing to do with money so they just waste it all.
