How much water do you drink in 1 day?
How much water do you drink during a working and non working day?
After calculation I realized I drink around 6.5L during a working day and probably 5L during a non working day. I was amazed because 2 years ago I think I barely made it though 1L and I really worked on increasing it.... Now it seems a lot of water and even if I don't seem to have any issues I'm wondering if I should reduce it. Especially since I tend to drink it in 6 or 7 times and not in small glasses along the day...

Depends on the day..
hey there!
My intake varies depending on how much I exercised that day, how much salt I took in, or whatever else is going on. I always drink two full glasses of water as soon as I wake up and two a little while after dinner and at least a glass at each meal. So, I suppose I get at least a half a gallon in each day if not more. Hope this helps!

My fluid intake is really low. I'm probably about where you used to be, at 1L a day...maybe even a little lower. I know I need to fix this, but I'm just rarely ever thirsty.

6-7L I'd say.

Train yourself.
Always have a full waterbottle with you and just sip it whenever you're not doing anything.
Downside is you spend forever filling it up/going to the bathroom...Supervisor accused me of cheating in my end of school exam.

I've started using Crystal Lite packets to add flavor so I'm more likely to drink it. Hopefully this works out for me and I can gradually increase my intake.

Do I even lift?
1-3 liters. I try to keep those big SmartWater bottles next to me at all times. I find it difficult to drink so much especially when I'm not thirsty, but like a lot of things, it's just something you have to train yourself to do.

I really need to drink more. I keep telling myself to keep a bottle around and i'll be more likely to drink. I really need a water purifier thing though.
And i'm not "suppose" to have any food/drink near the computers at work but i'm sure I can stick a water bottle somewhere he wont see

Probably around 2 litres. I just go by thirst...used to force myself to drink more but can't be arsed anymore.
ETA that I drink around 6 cups of tea a day though so I suppose that counts toward fluid intake too...

I drink about 4 litres a day, not including shakes or water at the gym.
I have a 1 litre bottle that stays at my desk at work that I make sure I fill it up 4 times throughout the day.
Once 4 hits I usually stop my water intake, or else I'm up all through the night taking numerous pee breaks!

I drink around 1.5 gallons a day. I keep a nalgene bottle at my desk. Drinking it and refilling it has become routine, almost schedule-like. I don't even think about it anymore.

Suck it up!
During the work day ----> A LOT! At least a gallon. And that is not including what I drink before work at the gym and after work at home. A former boss of mine had a joke that he was going to put a time clock in the bathroom because I go so frequently!
But on the weekends I constantly have to remind myself and even force myself to drink more h2o for some reason.

Right around 8 glasses a day. It varies a lot though. I try to listen to my body. I drink when I'm thirsty and always keep a water bottle on hand.

That's definitely a good improvement. Hopefully I can get there.

It's never stable lol... Usually on a day I eat lots of fats, I get thirsty more often for some reason so I drink more.

That's really interesting, I have noticed on some days that I am much thirstier than other days but never thought about it being linked with fats, I've tended to just think of it as being associated with sodium! I will see if I find I am thirstier on days when my fats are higher now!

I know, I actually don't really understand how that works either. I believe it has something to do with the salts that is added to the fats/sodium maybe? Also, it feels warmer when I get more fats that's for sure.

Thank you ladies... I guess I'm in the high average then :-) I should probably try to spread it more over the day but nothing to worry about !
