epic, and as for asking whether of not you should keep it, I would have known that dog was mine the second I laid eyes on it

(Edited first post)
Pretty sure I'm keeping her. Took her to the vet yesterday and she isn't microchipped. No collar + no chip + underfed = go to hell previous owner. It's possible she got away, but how do you let a 10 week old puppy wonder off? Also, the vet also thinks that because she has abnormally large ears (about an inch longer than normal) and her back knees are weak, that a breeder likely dumped her. Breeders, pls go.
Got her initial vaccinations done yesterday and taking her back for more in three weeks. Will get her spayed ASAP. I was going to take a video of her playing with my mom's dog, but the vet said it's best to keep her away from other dogs until she gets all of her shots. The vet said she's a little skinny (a little? I can see her shoulder bones, spine, most of her ribs, and tail bones... looks bad to me but I dunno) and she has tapeworm. Hopefully that's the worst of it. This is my first time taking care of a dog on my own (had a German Shephard when I grew up) but I'm all in. I love dogs, even though I'm kinda allergic to them. challengeaccepted.jpeg
I'm working on crate training and potty training but this dogs are notoriously stubborn. She was whining really loud last night so I let her sleep with me (also I'm keeping her at my friend's house who has hardwood floors, and I felt bad that my friend couldn't sleep). She would sleep for about 2 hours then start to squirm so I'd take her out to pee. This cycle continued until about 4 AM lol I'm a little worried about leaving her in her crate and pooping in it because she's supposed to be pooping out the tapeworms. I don't want her eating that sh!t and getting more sick.
I forgot to take my camera with me yesterday so I couldn't get as many pics, but I did get another pic of her sleeping in the car...

I'm in love....very jealous... You need to keep her. Good job saving her!

OP i love you for deciding to keep her. (srs)
As far as the pooping situation, I don't advise you letting her sleep with you lol. First that will create bad habits because she'll want to do it the rest of her life, second she won't learn how to be properly potty trained since she might do it in your bed (which would be worse for you really) and you don't want tapeworms in your bed either lol. I think you should just put her crate in your room and lock her in it and when you hear her moving around then take her out immediately for a piss/shyt. Worked for my pup, he used to wake up 3-4 times a night but eventually it got less and less and finally he started sleeping throughout the night.

name the dog "bunny" to troll. seems fitting because of the ears.
People ask why I train so much and eat like I do all the time... Well, the answer is simple:
I will not allow somebody with half the determination and twice the genetics be better than me.

Just caught this thread.
Good job op. Just now realized your location too. I would say if you didn't want it I could probably take her off your hands but seems like she likes where she is now.
Makes sure to the ears really clean and the eyes. They can devlope ear infections and eye problems if not.
But Good job for keeping the dog. Repped.Leo/Military Supporter. Bustin my ass to save yours!!!!!!

FUUUUUUUUUUU moral dilemma!
Really don't want to give her back. The house looked real shady (dead landscaping everywhere, broken down car with a tarp in the driveway, etc.). The sign was posted four houses down from where we found her too.
Don't give a fuk about a reward. Already spent about $200 on her though between taking her to the vet and buying her food, toys, etc. If I gave her back I'd ask to be reimbursed.
What if I have some little kid's dog?!
