    When to do neck?

    "Whenever your body tells you"

    No, because even though i might feel like doing Neck, i dont wanna get it injured.

    So im wondering when should i do neck during a week?

    Should it be every other day? maybe just on back days? or on non back days?

    More like upper traps and levator scapulae.

    Whenever we shrug, does the front of the neck also tense because otherwise it'd just fall back form the weight?

    Well yes Traps included but i meant do stuff like neck raises with plates on top (back part -on a bench- and front -laying flat) or neck bridges.

    With back or shoulders. For the record, I've never seen anyone throw in specific, weighted "neck exercises", aside from your typical rehab-related stuff. Working your traps is great in itself.

    Well maybe i shudd just stick to a lot of Trap work then. I feel like neck raises works it a lot too and plate raises but ill stick to more Traps which i dont often do.

    anything that pulls ur arms down basically works ur neck aswell, working traps also hits ur neck muscles aswell. I personally wouldnt do neck isolations, mainly bcuz lifting in itself has made my neck pretty wide.

    dude deadlifting will get you a huge neck... i.e. football players... also... genetics will get you a huge neck... neck isolations... yeah negative, but the rehab ones are good for preventatice measures.
    Hopefully I'll make it to 6% by this winter so I can finally bulk for the rest of my life.

    Bolded: Good point. Theres huge guys with small necks or big traps but no neck.
