I'm about to go back to work soon im a stocker so I stock material all day moving metal and sheetrock for 40 hrs a week. I havent worked in almost a year and in that year ive put on 20lbs of lean muscle ive never been to the gym before 6 months ago. anyway i was never weak for what my job needed me to do basically my job built me up to that point and i was really skinny.
Im still skinny and im wondering if i burn 5000-6000 calories a day do i really gotta eat more than that to continue to gain mass?? i put on muscle from when i first started til a year ago without even eating as much as i eat today while not working. anyone with labor jobs have any tips on gaining mass? im gonna try to hit the gym atleast on fridays when i first get back this isnt enough is it?

i used a calorie calculator and it says just walking which is the bare minimum of what im doing for my 8hrs burns 3000 calories im constantly pushing material carrying it on my shoulder walking up a lot of stairs. this is just for 8hrs of my day just walking around the house doing siht has to burn something too so ya around 5000 atleast prolly 6000. im talking about from the time i get up to the time i go to sleep.
