Hmmm..As far as a nutrition tracker, I've tried Fitday, Myfitness Pal, and Jefit. All of them are "alright" but there are a lot of discrepancies with the nutrition facts on the foods. I've since moved to a nutrition log on paper and go strictly off the nutrition facts on the package of whatever I eat. Using a paper log is actually just as easy as using an App on your phone or computer, and is more accurate too. I also bought a cheap food scale from K-Mart. The scale helps a lot and puts my mind at ease so I know I'm getting proper portions.

on your bodyspace where you enter measurements, there are videos for each muscle but they only show the correct position, no tips for doing it yourself. I'm not sure if you really can, cause you're supposed to be in a relaxed position.
I always think I must look like C-3PO haha, shuffling around 'n sh!t

Hey, I'm kinda new and I just found this thread, but I think it's a good fit for me. I'm fairly skinny, but don't want to be, and have been working on gaining good size. So far, I've gained a few pounds and gotten stronger, so I must be doing something right! Feel free to add/message me-I like making new friends to keep motivated and talk about working out

I was thinking of adding another workout day but dont want to over train. I have weekends off and I already workout Saturday but thinking of adding a arm day for Sunday.
My current 3 day split is this...
Tues: chest/tri
Thurs back/bi
Sat Legs/shoulders/abs
Im wondering if I dropped abs on Saturday and did a arm/ab day for Sunday. Would that be ok or will I be over training my arms?
Maybe this could work..
Tues: chest
Thurs: back
Sat: Legs
Sun: arm/abs
Suggestions?

Honestly a 4 day split is best until you get the body you want. Then once you get advanced you can go 5 day split. On your 4 day though you should incorporate more muscle groups each day. My 4 day split is as follows:
Sunday: Legs
Monday: Chest/Tris
Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: Biceps/Back
Thursday: Shoulders/Calves/Abs.
I sometimes do abs Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and cardio on those days too. You want to separate muscles that are activated on multiple days. (If that makes sense) Say Legs, and Back and Biceps...Give them 2 days in between. This is because when you work legs, you also work back a little, and Legs and Calves; you work calves on leg day and legs on calves days lol. See what I'm sayin? I make my split to where I don't work any muscles 2 days in a row.STRENGTH. POWER. FITNESS.

I didnt mean thats exactly wat he needed, I said he should take a good look at his diet to see room for improvement in general. Especially if he lost 5 lbs in a short time. And the nutrients in fruits/veggies are important to every diet, especially a muscle building diet, as they aid in digestion and greatly help with protein synthesis

Yeah same here haha. They are rock hard and I can see TONS more definition in my triceps. To me, it only matters what you see in the mirror and the progress pics. I'm almost tempted to quit weighing myself lol. As long as I'm looking better that's all that matters. The scale and the measuring tape puts a lot of added pressure into it.

anybody else down to quit stepping on the scale???
i think thats where i'm at right now. i look great in pics/mirror but then the scale destroys my confidence.
also dropping back down to a 3 day split. 5 days is just not feasible for me right now. and i'm going to try to hit the gym w/o a prework out supp. something tells me NOshotgun is not helping me gain weight...
