Oh, yes, you sound like the friend who gave me this mass gainer. He's very particular about everything he consumes. This product is called Carbo Gain Complex Carbohydrate. Since you listed aspartame, it has none in it and claims that it's all natural. It's also derived from corn and this mass gainer seems unlike the rest that I've seen, according to ingredients. I couldn't even find it on this website, but I'll try it.

There are much better homemade options.
Im seriously stumped about my BB bench press. I can DB bench more than I can BB bench lmao. Im gonna run a couple of cycles from Matt Ogus new video how he splits up Sheiko Jr into a weekly progression rather than daily. It will look like this
Week 1: 4 x 9 @ 70%
Week 2: 5 x 7 @ 75%
Week 3: 7 x 5 @ 80%
Week 4: 10 x 3 @ 85%
Week 5 Deload
Alternating heavy (6-10 reps) or Pump 14-20 reps as accessory work. I also am working towards progressing on only 3 exercises per large muscle group and 2 for small muscle groups. Progression, Progression, Progression

Hi I'm new.
I'm an ecto to the core, and have no problem building strength but have a really hard time actually looking like I'm putting on muscle. I'm not looking to get big and beefy like a lot of the guys here, just to have more shape you know?
So my question is, I know a bit about different exercises and stuff but not really how to make a plan. I'm careful with what I eat, like not a lot of crap or fat and stuff. What kind of plan is involved in getting to this point: dropbox . com/s/6emzhv65pt3b6tv/%233%20Goal.jpg?dl=0 (can't post link due to newness)
[no holmes]
Thanks in advance. I have a weight bench and dip station, chin-up bar, etc. I really like the idea of bodyweight/plyometric/calisthenic stuff but I think i do need actual weights to get to that point, don't I?

I assume you have a barbell so heres the routine I would do 3 times a week with that equipment.
Pullups/Chinups 3 sets for as many reps as possible
Bench Press 12 reps, 10 reps, 8 reps, 6 reps, 4 reps- Load the bar accordingly (aka as the reps get lower the weight should get higher)
Deadlift 3 sets of 10 reps
Dips 3 sets for as many reps as possible
then after ^^^
2 cycles through:
Jump Rope 20 double unders
25 sit ups
15 pushups
50 yard walking lunge
20 burpees
40 yard bear crawl/crab walk
Let me know if this is what you had in mind.Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

Ive been good bro, how about you? I just started the anabolic diet and so far im loving being fat adapted except going from 600 carbs a day to 0 was weird for my taste buds. The only problem with it is how limited my food choices are... but on a positive note i am eating wayy more vegetables than ever before so im alot healthier. my first carb up is tomorrow for one meal (moms birthday dinner) and then wont have carbs till saturday when i basically eat all the carbs. Heres my planned menu
8am:
2 eggs
5 strips bacon
9am: heavy bench with 5 x 10 squat and deadlift
Breakfast:
5+ pancakes
maple syrup and butter
sausage
2 cups milk
Lunch:
2 cups milk
2 large sweet potatoes
2 cups brown rice
apple
pineapple
Dinner:
2 cups milk
more rice
chicken or steak
and absolutely whatever I want to eat the rest of the night along with 2 gallons of water, should put on about 5 or 6 lbs from all the glycogen and water uptake then its back to keto sunday, monday, tuesdayCertified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

Also, here are some credible Youtube channels that helped me out when I was trying Calisthenics for the summer.

Cool, Fortress is a pretty good channel.
Yeah, I had to look up Corey Hall and he's very advanced. Not many people get to that point, but I think almost anyone can get there if they do Calisthenics and gradually work their way up. Most people probably wouldn't care to be like him though. They're most likely looking at those types of "show off" vids because it's crazy and fun to watch and they're more for doing calisthenics since it can be done anywhere without much equipment to none at all. It's fun too cause you can be much more creative.

hey guys. haven't posted in a while, how's everyone doing?
I was bulking but then my bulk became dirtier to the point I felt chubby haha so I slowed down and though I'm still gaining weight I'm not really getting fat.
I also have decided I've made pretty decent gains in these last two years but haven't gotten too much stronger, so as far as my training goes, I want to change my routine. I mean, it's not like strenght and mass are mutually exclusive.
Since I started I was focused on growing, working with an 8-12 rep range. I want to gain strenght faster, so I'm trying to increase the load. I understand progressive overload, but I'm not too sure on how to go on about it. I'm not too familiar with strenght training. I'm trying to increase the weight and do 6-8 rep sets, but I don't know if just doing that is the best way to go. Any tips?
Oh, also I got my ab wheel! it felt pretty hard at first but you get used to it quickly. I haven't had it long enough to tell how good it is. Do they give good results? tell me about your experiences with ab wheels

5/3/1 is absolutely perfect for you. It will program heavy lifting for you so that all the guess work is eliminated and then right after your heavy sets, you can do all your accessory lifting in the 6-12 range and you will build mass and strength. I am about to finish my first cycle of it and im making more gains now than ever before.
I will PM you the ebook.
Saw your gainz on the instagramz. Looking good bro, I can tell you're working your ass off. I cant believe youre eating 4600 calories a day man! Thats redicCertified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

Can you pm the ebook to me also? Would greatly appreciate it. The calories are up there. Another reason why I was able to eat 6500 calories before is because my job had me doing a lot of walking and moving. But now, I'm not active as much at my newer job.
I am working my ass off when it comes to diet. Its really hard for me to gym more frequent though, I was only able to workout 2 times this week. ****ty I know, So I focused mainly on my diet and getting my calories in.
Here is a current peek at my macros I've been at
Calories 4647
fat 56g 11%
carbs 776g 67%
protein 250g 22%
One thing I'm going to try possibly once I hit 170, which would be the heaviest I ever weighed is to drop my fats down. Will try to aim around .2 grams of fats per pound (34grams per day). Since I dont want to put on much fat once I continue up to 180 I would like to see how my body reacts. Of course I'll be getting healthy fats in so just curious to how my composition changes. Normally I aim around .35 grams per pound or so. I've been taking digestive enzymes 3 times a day to help with the feeling of being bloated, helps alot with easing my stomach.
Random, I usually get 8 hours of rest each night still wake up feeling tired, I might look into getting ZMA. Last time I took it, helped and actually slept through my alarm lol
That ebook would be a great read, looking to read more about structuring programs, as you can never know too much informationWe Win OR We Learn

Dude 56g of fat a day? Are you serious? Last time my fats were below 100 my joints hurt, I couldnt get lean, couldnt get a pump, had literally 0 sex drive, felt like a bitch, was weak and had no endurance in the gym. If there was anything to reconsider about your diet I would look there first my man!
You should seriously consider going like 3500 cals, 30% protein, 30% fat, 40% carbs. Good fats such as eggs, all meat fats and olive oils and nut fats. Seriously tho, I mean there are reasons why most guys can make gains on ketogenic and paleo diets. If your starting to go insane definitely go in the opposite direction with things or else youll get fed up.
Its really not that hard to put on mass and loose body fat if you know what you're doing. You're a knowledgeable guy, take that smart hard work and let it work FOR you. Anyways, ive been there and its not fun. I remember doing GOMAD, on starting strength while eating 6-7 cups of rice a day and I couldnt put on weight. It drove me mad. Now, I eat like 3 or 4 times a day and im getting leaner, bigger and stronger on 5/3/1 by working smart.Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

LMAO yes I'm serious, my fats come from all you stated. I know the benefits of healthy fats. My joints are actually just fine at the moment, no issues there. One thing I will say if I drop my calories under 4300 I will in fact drop weight lol It isn't hard to put weight on but quality mass takes time. I use to get caught up in the macro ratio breakdown and found out this wasen't the best way for me to make the steady gains I wanted. for example when I was at 6500 calories if i aimed around 30% protein I would be intaking way too much protein and all of that isnt needed. So what I've been doing that works much better in terms of progress is making sure I hit my targerts per pound. Example there is no need for me to ever go above 2grams of protein per lbm when bulking up. I try to keep my fats low that way I can just keep my carb intake high. I actually have a crazy pump everytime I walk in the gym and I'm not even looking to chase the pump. Sex drive is high lmao I feel great overall, just need to be consistent with the gym
my preworkout I made from raw ingredients get me pumped easily The main pump ingredients ive been using are agmatine sulfate and Glycerol monostearate , paired with lots of water and some carbs = crazy pump. I add other ingredents also to it.
My current rice intake is 5 cups per day lol I'm gaining on my current diet, its all about hitting my macros for the day and not skipping meals. I make sure to tweak my diet every sunday to make sure things are going smoothly.
That ebooks looks great, really excited about that, also sorry for grammar or any mistakes, trying best to just get thoughts out and be more active here
whats your goal for now ? You looking to cut ?
**haven't tried carbogain** Carb upper I see, me personally I dont like throwing all these different ingredients in my shake, more of a grab and go type of person with busy schedule. Carbs will def get your weight up if utilized rightWe Win OR We Learn
