all good advice....
All good info there. I would only argue that compound movements are best for skinnies as they stimulate more growth and testosterone. Skinnies have poor recovery and can only do so many sets so the main ones should be focused on.
What do you guys think about drinking protein/carbs DURING a workout so it's instantly available to muscle. I do this and it seems to be working for me. I have no evidence but my own anecdotal observations.

That first comment = GOLDEN! The reason most of us are underweight is because our tissue building and remodeling (all anabolic processes in the body: skin, bone, muscle, fat) are slower and less efficient than other body types. However, with patience and the correct application these systems will adapt.
Yea definitely! Gatorade and BCAAs are a great tool for someone looking to put on size. Keeps blood sugar levels elevated and keeps muscle glycogen levels elevated.Last edited by y0lked; 03-26-2014 at 03:42 PM.

Online or at any store really. Creatine Mono is all the same. The ingredient IS the name. If its a slightly different molecule it will have to be called something else or it would be false advertising. The only thing that would effect your choice is purity. Pretty much all brands are the same, If you go with a kre-pure tag thats gonna be your highest purity. ON has the best bang for your buck in all their products and they are the best in the business.
Awesome man! Glad to have you!Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

Yea man, any time! Making really good gains right now. My volume has been the lowest of my life and my body loves it. Ive paired that with eating as much as I possibly can and Ive actually put on about 5lbs of LBM and lost about 3LBS of fat. When you find the right combination, you'll know it because things just start falling into place and see easy. I meal prepped about 5 lbs of boneless skinless chicken thighs yesterday. I definitely prefer them over breasts now because they are soo much tender and dont take near as much time to cook in my busy schedule.
How about you? Hows everything coming along? Where are you at in this world? Summer quickly approaching?Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

Oh wow I should look into that! Me personally I like breasts as well but if boneless thighs requires less time to cook, then I will definitely look into that!
I'm doing ok man. I'm reorganizing my workout and eating patterns. I'm just creating a entirely new regiment! So everything is going ok. Funny you ask because I'm in the USA as well but on the east coast. Atl, GA! haha And yes, spring is here and the heat and humidity is already bothering me. I'm growing a afro and the heat and afro is muy malo. haha

Welcome. It's good to have a clear goal to work towards and one that is attainable and a motivation to get there. 194lb doesn't seem skinny tho...lol ...that's a decent weight. Presume you started a while ago and have done well.
I wanna reach 12 stone by the end of July and I'm 7lb off it. I need to cut down on fat though which is a nightmare cos it's impossible to bulk and drop fat simultaneously. :-/

Thank you sir. I started over 2 years ago. I haven't been on proper scales in a long time but I struggled to get my weight past what it is now. I saw a photo of myself a few months ago of what I looked like before I really got stuck in any my face was soooooo skinny. Now I have a bit of gut to lose. Unfortunately work and wedding stress are slowing that down. I'll be a pt in May and I want to look the part.
I started at 12 stone but I've a bit of a height issue. Invest in scrawny to brawny by precision nutrition. Excellent book.

Wheres everyone at? Hows everyones lifting going? Starting a recomp today hopefully I can add about 2-5lbs and drop about 2% body fat (or 2-5lbs) in the next 8 weeks. Heres my 3 year transformation with much more room for improvement! Were all gonna make it brahs, keep grinding. If you want it bad enough youll be willing to work hard enough. As always, free advice via PM or just post.
