Jack in the box grilled chicken strips

These macros for 4 grilled chicken strips with no sauce seem great, what am I missing here? Is there a reason I should still not eat this on a cut? I am in the car a lot for work, it would be nice to get these quick and eat while driving.

Looks fine to me. I would try to avoid eating it everyday as you could just buy some chicken tenderloins, grill em and pack em up thus saving some $$$ in the long run.

How many calories are you taking in on a daily basis?

Looks good, but making them at home would be cheaper and you control how much sodium is in them (if that's something you're worried about)

Yea just the idea to save some money would be my only concern; as sodium intake does not scare me.

I've eaten quite a few of those in my time. Great for keto too, just throw ranch or mayo on them, and they're really good!

Kind of expensive, but it's a great way to stick to your cut ninja style when out eating with friends, or if you're far from home and need a bite to eat.

Thanks guys! Won't be eating these too often since they are probably not that filling anyways, but nice to know that if I am in a big hurry I could just go through the drive through and get these.

Where are you getting those nutrition facts? According the the Jack in the Box website, the 4 piece grilled chicken strips are 250 calories (without sauce).

read the ingredients for the things on mcdonalds menu you think are good. The grilled chicken has same **** as the fried chicken, minus breading.

    Jack in The Box strips:

Chicken Strips, Grilled Chicken Breast Tenderloins, Water, Roast Chicken
Flavor (Dextrose, Maltodextrin, Chicken Flavor [Chicken, Salt, Dried Whey,
Chicken Fat], Salt, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Spices, Dehydrated Onion, Paprika,
Annatto [Color]), Soybean Oil, Seasoning, (Modified Food Starch, Carrageenan),
Sodium Phosphates. Grilled with Butter Flavored Vegetable Oil. Contains Milk,
    Soy
    OR
Seasoned Chicken Breast tenderloins: Chicken Breast Tenders, Water, Soybean
Oil, Seasoning [ Dextrose, Maltodextrin, Chicken Flavot ( Chicken, Salt, Dried
Whey, Chciken Fat ), Salt, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Spices, Dehydrated Onion,
Paprika, Annato Color], Modified Food Starch, aand Carrageenan, Sodium
Phosphate, and Salt. Grilled with Butter Flavored Vegetable Oil

Butter Flavored Vegetable Oil = same **** fat for frying

    @ synthetic

I'm talking about pure calories, grams of protein, grams of fat not hardcore ingredients. The grilled chicken snack wrap for example is like 200 calories, 15 grams of protein, 3 grams of fat when you get it grilled without cheese/sauce. But if you get it deep fried its less than 10 grams of protein with a little bit more fat and calories with the same stipulation of no sauce/cheese.

This is awesome. I stopped eating jack in the box because of the amazing amounts of fat, more the mc donalds. Jack in the box is close to my house and now I can pickup some low fat high protein foods.

Just went to jack in the box and had these. It was over $5 for just the chicken strips and no drink or anything else. I was pissed! Still real good for fastfood, but I wont be eating these often.

I wonder if jack in the box changed them recently because you are right, the facts on the jack in the box site are a little worst.

Personally, I just don't see the point in spending $3-4 on 6-8 ounces of chicken.

You are right, but when I can charge my on the run food to the company it doesn't really matter to me that it really isn't worth it. That is why I am trying to find somewhat healthy options at fast food restaurants.
