How much does the "t-bar row" bar weigh?

I'm just wondering how much the bar itself weighs without weights on the t-bar row?

    Thanks

Impossible to say as each machine is different. If you're so concerned about the weight of the bar, just use a standard barbell and do your rows with that.

^What he said. Usually the smaller bars are 25 lbs tho. Some are 15-20 though, just ask a gym employee.

Yet even that method would be hard to judge, as it turns the bar into a lever.

OP, I'd say you are better at just listing your exercise as "T-Bar Row (pwo)" where as PWO = plate weight only.

It's a lever so it will vary based on limb length and where you're standing relative to the fulcrum. Can't really put an exact number on it

Edit:^^^ beat me to it.. but yeah, what he said.

I don't count it, just record the plate weight. I see the bar as having an weight influence of less than 5lbs, as it is a lever mechanism, and there are too many variables between different people.

does it matter how much it weighs? just remember how much weight it's on it from week to week. treat it like you would with any other machine, the weights don't translate to free weights.
