(right or wrong) They usually use a blend... based on dandelion root and potassium... the tanning dries you out quite a bit, and they also manipulate electrolytes often to the point of SERIOUS cramping
Pretty good deal:

Great ideas here:

EDIT: If you mean PROS.... LOL... they are on a whole different level as far as dangerous diuretics etc...Last edited by pu12en12g; 02-07-2011 at 03:48 PM.

To achieve that look, you need to be lean already to begin with, under 5%bf and it takes 7 days to achieve it correctly. Personally I use dandelion root and xpel or taraxatone together starting usualy on days 4 to the day you want that achieved look. You cannot hold this look for long periods of time due to you will eventually flatten out and lose muscle fullness. But you need to manipulate your sodium and water intake and gradually taper them down throughout the week.

Slam water as much as you can stand starting about 1.5-2 weeks out. Start progressively tapering off water about 3-4 days out. Fri nite and Sat, only sip water, no carbs either since they draw in water. Run a potassium-sparing (helps prevent cramps) diuretic like diazide starting Fri noon. On lunch Sat (after pre-judging) eat double order of salty fries. The salt will draw even more water into the gut and away from the skin, the carbs will help replenish the glycogen and help fill the muscles out (and it's too near the night show for any appreciable water build-up from the carbs). At this point you should have headaches and dizziness from dehydration, lol. After the night show, get ready to pass out from lack of water and proper nutrition. Best recovery meal after - big jar of peanut butter with crunched up chocolate bars and a 2 liter of Mt Dew.
