Sorry, missed this part and feel its very important.
Best advice is DO NOT do it.
It can be difficult and quite stressful. When people are sick or in pain they generally require more attention and time when you really may no more to give. The job requires a lot of patience and diligence. One mistake could send someone to the hospital and no one wants that feeling on their conscience.
Its not easy money, i busted ass in school and still bust ass at work. It may look easy, but I assure you it requires much more attention than many realize.

This piece of information is invaluable. Thanks. Still imo it is considerably easy going to make 143k a year. Thats similar to a GP isnt it? And they have extra education and loans and malpractice insurance. A lotta jobs that make over 100k requires ppl to bust their asses off, and correct me if I'm wrong but pharm seems to be more easygoing then others.

Good question, Ive seen some foreign grads come through and try to transfer in to the american system and from what Ive seen its not easy. Usually their is a long internship program they must complete and pass an equivolency exam and a few other things Im probably not aware of.
It can be done, but never seems to go smoothly. I really think it would have to be viewed on a case by case basis and depends on which country their coming from.

Codeine is a controlled substance in the US, albeit, not that strong of one. As for foreign pharmacy degrees in the US, I believe you must take a couple of exams to prove you are proficient in what you need to practice, as well as the language here depending on where you are form.
Oh, soup pharmacy brah? just going off to my rotation site soon - doing long term care consulting right now. Couple of interviews this month for residency positions. They are intense!
Diclofenac is extremely nasty on the stomach, and I've seen a couple of cases of gastrointestinal bleeds from chronic use of it. It can also damage the liver/kidneys moreso than other NSAIDS (Ibuprofen, Naproxen, etc) tend to. The major thing that was found though is that it has a black box warning for increased risk for fatal cardiac events such as heart attacks and strokes with prolonged use.*Official Misc Doctor and (legal) drug dealer*

Pharmacy is like chemistry + biology with some math thrown in.
If you have a bachelors already, you could complete pharmacy school in 4 years. Some schools do offer an accelerated program which would have you done in 3, but are quite labor intensive.
