    T3/t4???

I have cut down from about 250 to 205 in the past two years. I really struggle due to my hypothyroidism. I have been on synthroid for years and they keep giving me more and more. After being bumped up to 112mcg of the T4, I begged for T3 and got 5mcg. all the meds and blood tests are expensive. How much T3 do I need before I feel like i'm seeing some real results?

Its my understanding that a healthy person actually produces 50mcg a day. and I am concerned that at only 5mcg a day in perscription form, that my body will only produce 45mcg in return.

Ive taken armour, and synthroid & cytomel combo both. I find armour works better for me as my body doesnt turn t4 into t3. I have hashimotos as well. 25mg is a good place to start, 5 isnt going to do anything.
