When I was just barely 14 and started working out for football Freshman year my max bench was 125, but I was like 150 pounds. By the end of the school year I got my max up to 205 and almost 225 (last few inches kicked my ass) The bright side was I fixed that during summer.

I say right now, compared to a lot of other 14 year olds, I remember my 125 bench being better than most of my friends, I just left them in the dust by the end of the year. Stick with it and by summertime you'll be insanely better. Btw, you're about 16, that's about that time everyone's testosterone kicks in and you'll get REALLY insanely strong, keep working out, it's high school so you'll be glad you have an amazing body when your upperclassmen years kick in. Girls will love you and guys will envy you
    lol wtf was this post.

OP - keep at it <3

seems like ur curls are a lot stronger than your other lifts.

when i was benching 115 i was probably only curling like 40-45range.

now fastfoward to when i curled at the 68-70lb range i was benching like 160.

so i guess i'd say... avg lifts for a 14 year old. above average bicep curl lol.

when i was benching 115 i was probably only curling like 40-45range.

now fastfoward to when i curled at the 68-70lb range i was benching like 160.

so i guess i'd say... avg lifts for a 14 year old. above average bicep curl lol.
What? His curl is way average.

You're about as strong and as heavy as I was when I was 14, freshman year of high school, although you look bigger. Your curls are better than mine for sure. (Even now my curls suck.) I didn't start working out consistently until I think sophomore year though. Keep at it. Bodybuilding is patience and perseverance.

I honestly doubt you can Press 80 lbs while benching 115, how does that happen?
    That's completely true. 100%.

Not at all. I make sure that my form is perfect. I have virtually no back or elbow movement during curls.

You trying to be a powerlifter?

If not, who gives a **** and lift lift lift eat eat eat sleep sleep sleep and just worry about growing. Lifts dont mean ****, especially 1 rep maxes. You want to grow, **** strength, **** 1 rep maxes, **** your ego, get your @$$ in the gym and put in 100% on every set, every day, EVERY time with perfect form. Smash each muscle group like there is no tomorrow and eat like a tank

Step 2: post progress pics in two years and you are going to be one massive motherf**ker if you do that and drop the ego/lifting stats

But im also 16 so thats probably why
Just becuase your bench is higher, that doesn't mean ur stronger. Your bench is 100 % muscle memory. Muscle memory is when you do an excersise so long, ur body remember how to do it and it becomes easier. That is why it is easy to increase the weight quicker when u first start the excersise. It does not mean u are stronger.
